I absolutely love this roller. It has totally improved my glue ups by allowing me to completely cover the joint surface but without over-applying, wasting glue, and causing too much messy squeezout. There’s a shallow pattern of diagonal lines in the roller that allow just enough extra glue to spread on without it becoming too much. My glue joints are all 100% covered now with minimal waste and the roller speeds up the gluing process. Yes it is small. It is not a paint roller. It’s made for woodworking glue-ups, especially the edges of boards. That’s why it is only a bit more than an inch in width. The silicone cleans easily with warm water.     • Binds up if held in wrong position
I really like this roller for spreading glue, however, it tends to bind up if you need to use it with the roll vertical and the handle extending from the bottom. It needs a washer and a crimp between the last bend in the handle and the roller, like large paint rollers have, to keep from binding on the last bend. ... show more

    • An improvement, maybe a big one.
I am a hobby woodworker and glue up boards often. I got this to help me minimize the glue I squeeze out all the time - I use too much glue and am tired of scraping and sanding so I am in search of a solution. This is not bad and I am going to keep using it till I figure it out. It rolls well enough but I wish it was easier, I may be using too much glue. The tray is easy to clean, just turn it inside out, The roller is less easy to clean but easy enough that I will use it again. I glued up about 12 boards, with biscuits, about 1/2" thick and it went well. I had built a similar piece a week earlier without this and needed to use a belt sander to get off all the squeezeout. With this, it was much cleaner. Better than I have found, I'll keep using it until I fid better. ... show more

    • Good Little Glue Set
I wanted a small glue roller for wood glue-ups and ordered this set. The roller and basin work well and are easy to clean when the glue dries, just bend or flex the silicon and peel the glue off. The only criticism I have is that the handle on the roller comes lose and I’ve had to retighten it a few times. The handle is metal and threaded so I am going to put some locktite on the threads which should solve the problem. ... show more

    • Nice little roller and pan
I use this little kit for spreading wood glue when I laminate panels for various things and it works great. I clean it up with warm water and Simple Green and it cleans well if I don't wait too long. If the glue begins to skin on the roller, it's a bit of a pain to clean out the little indentations on the roller. The pan is silicone, which is easy to clean up. ... show more

Used it right away on applying TiteBond 11 glue to wood for felt glueing on a new game table. Worked perfect, dried glue came right off like advertised and ready for the next project.
