This was basically what I was expecting and hoping it would be. It not solid wood, but it's sturdy and looks like solid wood when assembled. It was very easy to put together. All you need is a Phillips screwdriver and a hammer for the cardboard backing. Looks nice and holds all my books. No complaints.

The value was so great had to buy two! Took about 45 min to build both by myself. Both stand upright and sturdy - not worried about them falling over at all. Great fit for the man cave!

Needed slightly narrower side piers when I moved. Glad I found these! My only negative is there is no light and the shelves are wood - would have preferred glass shelves like the ones in the larger piers.

I purchased 2 of these based on the reviews that stated that the assembly was easy. Typically it is not an issue because my husband puts things together for me. But he is on the road for a couple of weeks and I thought I would have some time to organize around the house! So the boxes are pretty heavy - I am a 65 year old woman and I had to drag the boxes from the front porch to the bedroom. They took about 45 minutes to assemble and are surprisingly sturdy even though they are particle board. They look very nice and are exactly what I was looking for. For the quality- they were a good value for the money.

Ordered this was really excited to get it, especially on sale cause it matched my Ashley Furniture bed room suit. But it came in today and in the process of putting it together realized the back piece is half the size of the shelf in width itself so it didn’t come with the correct part. Also in the pictures the back piece matches the sides so idk why this flimsy card board piece was sent with it anyways. I was really disappointed because it’s not what I ordered. But it’s fully functional just not the same. Easy to put together in 30 mins only needed a hammer and Philips screw driver, although it is heavy I could lift it and move it by myself. I contacted Amazon customer service and worked out a solution with them over the product not being what I ordered and they handled the solution appropriately and also reached out to the manufacturer about the issue. Overall I’m satisfied with the outcome of my issue but buyer be ware before ordering this product.

Went up in 20 min. Structure is very strong and well made. Wood material is pressed MDF or pressed board.
