We ordered three of these for a new house that we just bought. The packages arrived promptly however, the one box, the silica packet opened up and leaked everywhere, causing a huge mess one opening the box and also I had caused damage to the product itself. The other two boxes were fine. Assembly well it’s pretty easy if you look at the instructions except I’m a guy and then look at them and put the legs on backwards my bad. Once assembled my wife and I were both shocked at the quality and sturdiness of these tables, they are heavy and solid. They look great there plenty high enough would definitely recommend ordering them for anyone As for the damaged one, the Amazon associate one above and beyond, he credited back a percentage to my account, and I kept it is the damage was minimal and cosmetic, overall I’m extremely pleased with the product as well as the service ... show more

Love the finish, style, and sturdiness of this table. The top arrived with surface scratches which I am not thrilled about. The packaging in general was good but the very top was not protected. I'm living with it but not thrilled.

Match coffee table. Sturdy,, easy for senior to assemble. One received damaged (see pic) with draw slide broken. May be a prev return. Husband thinks he can fix instead of return.

I purchased this for my mom for Christmas. She had been wanting a good size living room end table for quite a while, that had a drawer and was made out of real wood and not particle board. This fit the bill. She really likes it. I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 because the back edge of the table top has minor damage to it. I’m not sure how it happened, because it was packaged really well. But it’s to the back and is positioned next to a wall, so it’s not really noticeable unless you know it’s there. ... show more

I have other pieces in the Porter collection and these are every bit as beautiful. Heavy duty, well made, arrived in perfect condition even though the packaging had some damage. Rich, dark brown with a hint of cherry. Classic, timeless, perfect. Assembly was easy. Just put on the legs, shelf and feet. Took about 5 minutes for each of them. Bought 2. One arrived on time (UPS) and the other early the next morning (Amazon). Well packaged, which meant it took longer to unbox and discard the packaging than it took to assemble them.
