    • Just don’t. Horrible craftsmanship. There isn’t one part of this done well
Chips in paint of metal. Sharp edges where the welding is poorly done. Also, there are paint drips along the metal. As for the solid wood- yeah, no. It isn’t, nor did they try very hard to hide this very well. There are gaps between the boards where the middle is crumbling out.

It looks cool - just understand that this is NOT a sturdy unit. It is intended for light use (knick knacks, etc) I bought it thinking it was much hardier - for an office multi work station (several pc's, 1 monitor). I don't want to lean on it....you get the picture - use for light duty. $140 for this....not nearly sturdy enough for that much money. I could've bought a chrome wire unit for $80 that is much larger and sturdier. ... show more

    • Very difficult to assemble.
Impossible to assemble alone. Directions indicate not to. Screws are too short to work with washer and lock washer. There is a weight limit that was lower than the specs listed. Once assembled, it's pretty, but not the sturdy bookcase I expected.

I originally bought this to be a bar but it didn’t fit in the space I had planned for it. It looks great and I assembled it in no time! If this is your style, I definitely recommend it. Sturdy and good value for the money.
