I've been looking a side tables for about 6 months. My other tables are black & I have a dark cherry tv stand w/ built in fireplace. I thought this table would be a bit darker than it is; but, I'm keeping it anyway. I thought I'd have to put it together from start to finish. Nope. I opened it & realized that I needed my husband to help me lift it out of the box because it was pretty much all put together. I removed the remaining packing material from around the table as it is very well wrapped. There is a shelf & brackets to insert inside the table to hold the shelf located under the table. I simply removed them from underneath the table, placed the brackets in the table compartment (there are 3 shelf heights to choose from), plugged in the cord, & I was done. The table looks great, all the outlets & charging plugs work great, the height is perfect, & it fits nicely between 2 rocker recliners in a space with limited room. My one complaint is that there was a bit of chipping on the finish on the base right in front of the door. I happen to own some furniture markers; so, I was able to give it a 5 second touch up that no one will ever notice. The box did come damaged & had tape on a few places that the shipping company put on. The table was so well packed that none of the damage to the box caused any damage to the table. I also love the price. I'd been looking at this on Amazon & other online retailers regularly hoping to see a price reduction and Amazon came through. I was able to buy this for $115.00 which is a phenomenal price. My local well known furniture store wanted about $300 for similar tables. One online retailer known for good pricing was offering this same table for $179.00. So, I am thrilled with my purchase. My family room looks finished now that I no longer have a tray table between my recliners. It wasn't a good look. Anyway, if you are looking for this type of table, I highly recommend this. It's a very well built table. It's a bit heavy so it won't get knocked or out of place accidentally. Love the magazine rack on the back. I can put my remote control caddy inside the compartment with plenty of room for other items and fit a full box of tissues on the shelf in the same compartment. I leave a phone cable plugged in & my husband & I charge our phones & tablets with no hassle. I leave a lamp plugged in & currently have my laptop plugged in. I always had to run an extention cord before so I could plug in multiple items. I didn't think much of it until I got this table. It's made plugging things in so much more convenient. I hope my review helps you make your decision. I didn't include photos as they really wouldn't look any different than the seller's photos. The media could not be loaded. I get so many compliments on these tables. I ordered two. They perform well for a lamp, a drink, a remote, storage, and charging your electronic devices! They look so nice in my living room. They clean up well. There was no assembly! Yay! They are of good weight and will not tip over. Price is good too! ... show more

First of all, let me begin by saying that I don't usually leave reviews on Amazon. Only when I get something to rave about…or the other extreme. The table arrived fully assembled, all that was needed was to unpack and put in the shelf. This end table is GORGEOUS! From the sturdy structure, to the beautiful color & finish, to all the thoughtful and well placed features. The back compartment with the outlets & USB ports neatly tucked away… not more cords hanging on the floor or in the way & the slide out cup holders & remote holder are such great features. There was a tiny 1/2” delaminated edge inside the back compartment, which a piece of tape secured. Not a problem. I’m not surprised the humidity here has been ridiculous. The size of the table is perfect, too. It looks perfect in our lodge inspired home. ... show more

This is my second order, I can't express how much I LOVE these end tables. I purchased 2 about 6 months ago for my office, I loved the quality and look so much I purchased 2 more for my Livingroom. If you are looking for the modern farmhouse look and something Functional, this is it. It has a gorgeous antique white finish with a gray top. Real wood, NO ASSEMBLE required ( which is a HUGE plus in my book) a little top drawer that has 2 cup holders and a phone spot, a cabinet to hold some odds and ends, a magazine rack in the back ( or photo albums?) Extra plugs and SD plugs. Well package, all 4 that I brought had NO ISSUES. Ashley Furniture quality. I got these on sale for 160 each, our local furniture stores were asking 240! Very fast shipping. Right size and the electric feature is nice. Seems solidly built. A nice surprise was the back pocket magazine space is bigger and deeper than it looked in the picture. However, if you are a connoisseur of fine furniture, you may want to think twice? While the finishing looks fine in photographs, some may find imperfection in the details of workmanship whether it be uneven stain or joints. Depending on your sensitivity and style - this piece may either fit right into your place... or you might call it "junk". The top pull-out drawer with insets is a bit of a puzzler. While the draw operates smoothly, the inset seem to have no real functional value. As another review noted, it would have been "nice" if the drawer could be "flipped" to use the flip side as a regular drawer? As noted in another review, there are no clues provided about unboxing. The shelf support pegs are "hidden"/attached in a small plastic bag to the box. Search CAREFULLY before discarding the box! The shelf is also sort of hidden on the bottom of the furniture. Although the box arrived heavily damaged with the box torn open, the internal packaging was intact and no shipping damages detected. NOTE: although Amazon stated delivery service to our door, that was NOT true. The truck would not leave the public street. I got a call from Amazon telling me that I would have to drive the 700 feet from my house to the street to get the box! The driveway is paved and weather sunny. While the drivers kindly waited for me to drive down to the street, you should be prepared for the possibility that this type of Amazon delivery contractor may not deliver the box to your door as stated. The driver said that they were told not to leave public streets because of customer complaints about damaging driveways, grass etc. Calls to Amazon were routed through FIVE different agents before getting to someone who "apologized" and said the driver would be "re-trained"!?! The Amazon delivery/response fell short of my expectations, and I will definitely think about that before considering heavy big item delivery by "AMAZON". ... show more
