The table is beautiful and solid. It is heavy but easy to assemble in 3 steps. I think because it’s so heavy, delivery via FedEx causes for the box to not be treated with care and therefore item comes in damaged. Mine had a small damage to a corner which cardboard was broken at before I opened it. I didn’t return because the hassle is too much but I recommend paying for assembly and delivery fee so they can take it away if item is damaged. Overall, it’s a beautiful piece. ... show more

I tried to order this exact table from 2 different places. Ashley Furniture cost $50+ more and Living Spaces was on backorder for 3 months before i cancelled it and tried Amazon. I love this table and it’s exactly what I wanted. Brown and white However it did come with some scratches on one side and the bottom is damaged.

My girlfriend and I were in the market for a coffee table to go with a new sectional couch. We were looking for something sturdy that we didn’t have to worry about putting our laptops on them at night and be afraid of it falling over. This one seemed to fit the bill especially because the extra storage underneath the lift top. I was hesitant to go with it though, because of the bad reviews of people that ran into shipping issues and coming dented and scratched. I did see the pictures of other customers but decided I would roll the dice anyway. I honestly could not be happier with how this came! The sender either has beefed up the packaging or the UPS guys in my area took really good care with it, but there wasn’t a scratch on it. I think it was a combination of both. It took my brother and I about 20 minutes to piece it together. Follow the instructions. It is a 2 person job no doubt. There are a few times you have to flip it upside down so an extra pair of hands is helpful. All the parts came well packed between the 2 large pieces. It was nice to see that they loaded the washers already on the bolt. It’s the little things. The cardboard in the recycle at the end was all over the corners and really secure in the back. It took about 10-15 just to unwrap properly. After getting it all tidied up we really got down and did an inspection of it to see if there was something to complain about. We couldn’t find a single thing to complain about. We are moving to a new house shortly. I will update with how it looks next to the couch in a month or so. ... show more

I love the color/finish on the table. We use the lift up feature to eat on while watching tv. This table is very sturdy and heavy. I would like to see a similar table with casters or wheels of some sort to make moving it a little easier.
