oh myyyyy! okay so i normally don’t write reviews, but these jeans have me on something else. as someone who is 5’2 these fit perfect! sometimes i have to wear my platform doc’s to wear jeans but i am able to wear them with my converse. they don’t reach the floor, so i’m not cleaning the floor for free. as for material….its not too stiff, there is stretch! it’s not thin at all, and not thick. these are perfect wish they made light wash colors. for amazon the recommended size for me was size 8, but i trusted myself and went with size 6 short. and they still fit loose but i don’t mind it, so maybe just be carful with the size you choose. and YES size short is for petite girlies. ... show more

Beautiful jeans. So soft, not thick but a good quality material, a little stretch, great fit. They didn’t stretch-out throughout the day and didn’t shrink in the washer/dryer. These used to be my favorite "go to" jeans but not anymore. This new "Gold Label" Modern Bootcut jeans have a waistband that is about 2 inches higher than the old version, even though they say mid-rise. The jeans are also longer and drag the floor unless I hem them, and these are supposedly the Short version. Unless these were mismarked, I will not be buying them again. The waist is too high for me and cuts into my ribs when I sit. The rest of the jean is comfortable and would probably be great if you are taller but I'm 4' 11" and these are no longer cut the way they used to be for a short person. ... show more

I do have my doubts about whether these are authentic Levi's. The tag on the back does not have the original Levi's logo, and the stitching on the back pockets is totally different. HOWEVER, these jeans have a really great fit just like my old boot cut Levi's used to have. They are also the perfect length (I order the long) and have plenty of room to fit over boots. The weight of the denim is good too, with a little stretch but not too much. Real Levi's? I don't know, but I will say these fit great and are a bargain, so I will order more. ... show more
