Update #2: USPS delivered the first scope order. I contacted Amazon to let them know the lost order arrived. I asked about buying both scopes because I have another rifle that needs a scope. Amazon went above and beyond customer service and I will be keeping both scopes!!! My wife is now happy she has a scope for her AR 15. Update: Operator error. I thought the scope was bad and took it off the gun. Today, July 6, I decided to look at the scope again after asking to return it. Inside my house the video color looked fine. It is cloudy today and I took it outside to check the color. It looked fine. I'm guessing the last time I took the scope to the range the angle of the sun may have been the reason the screen looked bad. Also, I'm guessing a poor job of tightening the scope down made the shots erratic. I decided to mount the scope back up and ensured it was on far tighter than before. I set up a 50 yard target and hit paper. I don't own a sled so my shots are just braced/balanced on something solid. I used the scopes one shot zero and it worked. (I'm using an Live Free Armory AR10 .308 Battle Rifle with a mil spec trigger.) I moved to my 100 yard target and hit high from my aim point. I used the one shot zero again and hit dead center of aim point. Next 3 shots were 1 moa. I contacted Amazon to cancel my return. It seems the scope is fine and I pray it stays that way. Also, the Mead Industries ammo I used is incredible because I'm not exactly a great shooter, and I'm not using a lead sled. Below is the original review: I really hate to write this but will. I ordered the scope awhile back. It was picked up by the US Postal Service and immediately lost. I still have no idea where that scope is at and have not heard from USPS. So, that was not Amazons fault or Sightmark. I waited a couple weeks and called Amazon to replace which they did very quickly. I called on Saturday and this scope arrived Monday July 2nd. I played around with the scope on the 2nd and 3rd to get used to it. I really had trouble seeing the information on the screen because the screen is way smaller than I expected. I'm not sure which dial I moved to get the letters on the screen to get larger but they got larger and I could see them better but not great. I got the scope mounted to my AR10 .308 cal and took it out today July 4th to sight it in. I thought the reticle looked canted to the left but my brother said it looked fine to him. My son agreed with him. I shot one .308 cal. 180 grain Mead Ammo bullet and cleaned the barrel etc... (FYI: great Match quality hunting bullet). I began the process of sighting in the scope. I decided to sight in with a Winchester 150 grain bullet and then use a scope feature that allows set ups for different rifles. I was going to use it for the different grain bullets I will be using. The scope has a sight in assist (one shot zero) feature but this one had bullets going all over. The scope simply would not zero and eventually the screen went cloudy except for the top left corner. Therefore, I have to return the item as defective. Amazon, would not replace this replacement scope. I can understand why. There is still a scope floating around the US Postal Service center or whatever the case may be. They just sent this scope and now I'm claiming another problem. So, getting this scope back to Amazon with a refund is what they decided they can do. I completely understand. I am nervous that this gets lost intransit and I don't get my refund. I guess we shall see. The scope: I got a defective one. I'm not sure my 51 year old diabetic eyes are made for this scope but I'm willing to eventually try getting a good one once my refund is secured. Then again I might go with another brand with a bigger screen. It's something I have to consider. I hope this helps somebody.

Here are a few things not mentioned in the description that might help people out. - I was pleasantly surprised to find that it has a built in range finding feature. It's not a laser rangefinder. Instead it uses Stadiametric rangefinding which is a technique used by the military for a very long time prior to microwave, IR, or laser rangefinders came into existance. Some users may actually prefer this over a laser rangefinder because lasers can be seen by any adversaries with IR optics giving away your position. You'll notice the screen will say "Hog" by default. This is because the software is determining the distance based on the average height of a hog. It's remarkably accurate and can be adjusted in the menu to deer, coyote, hog, or custom. - It records up to 4k 60fps but it's interpolated. So it's really only 2k progressive at 60fps but that's still pretty good and suits my needs fine. The file size for videos at that resolution will be roughly 300mb for a 1minute video. So you can actually get away with using a smaller 32gb or 64gb microSD card if you've got some of those laying around unused from yesteryear. - You can playback recorded videos on the scope itself. There are no built in speakers so it just plays without audio. - I'm able to use a type-C to type-C cable to connect my android phone to the scope. From my phone I can see all files stored on the microSD card, copy/paste/delete whatever I want. Files transfer to my phone crazy fast. A 5min video (about 1.5gb) transfers in about 5 seconds! I love being able to store videos on my phone because it makes editing and sharing them easy. - When cycling through the color modes it has Day/Night/Night custom. The custom one allows you to go into the settings to manually adjust exposure, ISO gain, contrast, and AE meter saving those settings as the Night custom mode. - You can save up to 5 different weapon profiles. Each profile lets you input caliber and grain. However, this data does not affect how the scope operates. For example it's not auto compensating for bullet drop or anything. It's just something you can type in so you remember which profile is for what. But, yea you can zero one weapon, save that profile, then zero a different weapon saved to a different profile and it will remember the X and Y coordinates. You can also simply write down the X/Y coordinate numbers and input them manually at any time later without having to shoot any bullets. Things I was bummed about.... - I cant figure out how do I delete videos and photos from the MicroSD card from within the scope itself. Maybe it's possible but I can't figure it out. - The 4k MAX model has a feature called "one shot zero". The 4K mini also has a zeroing feature but for some weird reason the superimposed reticle used for zeroing isn't very precise in the 4K mini. It's difficult lining it up perfectly. In the 4K MAX it uses a VERY precise MOA reticle. I have no idea why they're different. In fact, the software for the 4K MAX is completely different both visually and in the number of options that can be adjusted. I guess the computer hardware takes up more space?

Purchased this after owning several other brands of digital night vision scopes. The clarity is better than my ATN 4k pro, especially when zoomed in. It retains clarity while the ATN gets pixelated immediately. The main selling point was its weight though. The other digital night vis scopes ive had were bulky and heavy. They really threw off the balance of the firearm and made it harder to keep accuracy especially when shooting while standing up with no rest. I have this paired on a 7.62x39 AR carbine i built years ago with a YHM titanium suppressor. It balances out perfect. This yr i used it to take multiple deer and pigs. The kids really enjoyed it as well because of the video recording function. Weve done it with the ATN also, but the video final product is just better with the sightmark. It stayed sighted in also never loosing zero. Hit every shot as needed and never had any buggy issue like many of my ATNs had. No freezes, no random pauses, no need to power off and on to get working. Literally turned it on and it worked every time. I paired it with the sightmark rechargeable lithium QD battery. Used for many hours this past season and still using the same CR123 batteries in the scope. The lithium pack paid for itself already. 100% recommend this scope to anyone looking for a digital night vision. Its by far my favorite
