Description

Siemens main breaker kits are used to convert the Ultimate type of main lug load centers to main breaker load centers, or can be used as a replacement main breaker in main breaker type Ultimate load centers. Ultimate load centers are the current load center in production and went into production in 2002. Check the load center wiring diagram for confirmation. Siemens strongly recommends against the use of "used" breakers. The installation of used breakers in a Siemens panel will void the warranty on the panel. Siemens does not sell used breakers and has not approved any 3rd party sellers to do so. My house has the 200amp main breaker outside and my main breaker panel in the garage with out a main. Well for security reasons I wanted to secure the outside main so a thief can't just walk up kill my power to the house and try to Rob it so I locked the outside breaker but also wanted to be able to kill the power myself quickly if needed and this is hooked up inside my Garage Seimens breaker box perfectly so there's 2 options to kill power inside and out additionally I'm installing a 50amp generator inlet box outside and will be able to tap into that one easily over all in very pleased with it ... show more

What do you say about a breaker? My service is a 100 amp and I only bought this for my panel inside the house to act as a main shutoff so I don’t have to go outside. Price was good and I like the Siemens quality.
