These were purchased as additional protection and as a quick disconnect for my solar panels. I have a combiner box with breakers and lightning arrestor, but wanted the additional safety/security. These were so easy to install, just snap them into place on the DIN Rail and wire them up. They function perfectly, have a terrific visible green/red window on each breaker to show the status, and the breaker has a great positive feel when actuating. I load tested them and they tripped just shy of 23A on a surge test. They also tripped at just above 21A after applying a load for over a minute. So they work just fine for me, and will not trip below 20A. These are really nice, high quality DC breakers that deserve 5 stars. ... show more

The tightening screws did not grip the PV wire sufficiently.... I tightened almost to the point of stripping the screws and the wire would still pull out with minimal Force, this is going to go in the spare parts box until I find a situation that's not critical

It fit into a plastic 4x4 box that I had, so I'm very happy! I used a Dremel to cut a faceplate to fit and it looks great. These breakers are code for solar disconnect of the panels before the Charge Controller. The controller can be damaged if disconnected from the battery and still getting power from the panel. ... show more
