why the heck they did not out a ground bar that i had to buy separately also the bus bar holding plastics did not feel strong they may break if you apply too much force but overall, safer than most generic brands, especially when you are dealing with 50 amps. if you dis not trust the generic rv panels for EV charging, this is what you want. get a heavy duty receptacle like Lider 14-50 and a generic box and replace the receptacle . this is much safer than direct wiring an EV outlet. and easier to manipulate instead of going to the panel at the other side basement. yes if you read this far, you probably realized that you cannot just put a low quality receptacle for the continuous (6-8 hrs use) 50 amp receptacle… use high quality to prevent fires… ... show more

My home's 1990s load center is a Square D with "type QO" connectors, I quickly got an education when I bought a modern 50A 2-pole + neutral GFCI "Type QP" and realized they are not compatible! The only Type QO 50A 2-pole GFCI breakers I could find didn't have neutral monitoring, which is necessary since my sauna heater control uses the neutral for 120v accessories. It’s the size and function I needed, just wish it came with the ground bar and a door. Was able to order and add a ground bar, but no door can’t be fixed. I’m sure they probably sell this exact size/type with a ground bar and door but I couldn’t find one.
