  • Great headphones with crisp sound
Color: Peony
Did a lot of testing and research for these and after using them as my daily for a few weeks I can honestly say these are the best wireless I have tried. The noise cancelling is amazing and they fit very comfortabley in the ear while working out , just walking around or even sleeping. You get the option on how you want to do the noise cancelling weather it's on all the time , adaptively or to just turn it off and a transparent mode that allows you to hear outside. So far is been great. The only downside is that if you have noise cancelling on all the time it will drain the battery fairly quickly. I'm averaging 6-7 hours with it always on. Pros are that they charge rather fast while in the case. Overall I would recommend. ... show more

  • Excellent audio fidelity for music, pretty good ANC, nice fit
Color: Moonstone
Much has been said about the audio quality of these buds vs the Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro 3 and the Airpods 2, and I think much of that commentary is inaccurate. It is true these buds do have a steep rolloff cliff at 15khz, but it is also true most adults don't hear well over 15khz - this is why the best lossy codecs such as Frauenhofer's famous MP3 codec, which people in studies could not differentiate from lossless at 320kbps, recommend rolling frequencies above 16khz off. Because its better to have accurate sound in the most audible frequencies with 16khz+ rolled off, than to have inaccurate sound in the most audible frequencies with 16khz+ intact. And this is where sites like RTINGS fail in interpreting their own graphs when they score these buds low in "accuracy", but then give the Galaxy Buds Pro 3 and Airpods 2 a higher rating despite them being less accurate in the most audible frequencies. The Galaxy Buds Pro 2 have bass boosted inaccurately, and the Apple Airpods 4 deviate from neutrality in the mids and highs - while the Pixel Buds Pro 2 are neutral - offering a higher fidelity listening experience. Would it be nice if earbuds went up to 20khz *and* were accurate in the audible range? Yes, but none of these three options do this currently. ALSO, it is worth noting that the Pixel Buds Pro 2 *nail* the Harman curve, unlike any of the other options. TLDR; if you want the most accurate sound in the *most audible* frequencies, the Pixel Buds Pro 2 are the best choice. Also the Pixel Buds Pro 2 offer cool AI features the competition does not, such as nodding to accept a call, or shaking your head to decline a call. Now, I would not say they are flawless. I feel like the active noise cancelation (ANC) is slightly imbalanced, with the right being stronger than the left a bit. I tried two pairs, and the 2nd pair seemed better in this regard. I thought they were both extremely comfortable and stayed in the ear well with the default tips. The "wing" helps a lot in this regard. Haven't had them long term yet so can't comment on long term reliability. But so far, I would highly recommend them. ... show more

  • Fantastic EarBuds
Color: Moonstone
The Good: - Sound quality is excellent - Surprisingly comfortable to wear - Stays in ears pretty securely. Recently wore them while mowing my lawn. They didn't budge the whole time. - Touch controls are easy to use and simple to utilize. The unusual shape of the buds seems to be conducive to touch interaction - Battery notifications are excellent. Love that I'm notified when the case is finished charging and a notification pops up showing battery levels when I open and close the charging case - Battery life is also top notch and wireless charging on the case is also a great feature - Automatic music pausing when removing the buds is super convenient - The case feels amazing in hand! Gotta stop myself from fidgeting with it - Find Me feature on the case if it's lost is really cool too - Pairs super fast and easy with my pixel 10 pro - Build materials are high quality and size of case and buds is comparable to most on the market. The Bad: - Can't figure out how to get multi-point connections to work. I have it paired to my computer and phone but it can only do one or the other, not both simultaneously. ... show more

  • Great sound, good but not excellent fit for running, gestures are great.
Color: Hazel
Cautiously optimistic. Sound quality is very good (I am not an audiophile, just a casual listener to music. But spend a lot of time - 5 hours a day - on meetings, listening to podcasts and audio books). Noise cancellation is very good, although I don't use it in that mode a lot. Fit is excellent, twist lock works effectively. True multi-device bluetooth: that means I can have it connected to my Pixel and my macbook at the same time - not just Apple devices, which is handy for a multi-platform user. The gestures (swipes/taps for control) are also very functional Pro tip: don't get the white case, they do get dirty quite easily. Two things keeps me from a five star review: the battery life is not stellar, and I can't really use it for running because one ear is not tight enough with any of the provided buds to keep it from jostling, and get an annoying/audible click during a run. (Could also be my ear-canal shape too, but other in-ear headphones have stayed in before.) ... show more
