I needed two same day, but it would only allow me to buy one same day, and one next day. I used this to mount a Govee outdoor house light on the vinyl siding and it fit perfectly and looks great. Designed to be used when the hole/opening for the wiring is located in the middle of the slat, not between two slats (on the crease/overlap. Installation was super easy. Used clear silicone along the top and side to prevent water seeping in. Just waiting on the second one to arrive today.

For some reason these things are not readily available in stores anywhere, its weird... not even HomeDepot or Menards. That being said, they were EXACTLY what i needed when installing exterior carriage lights on a newly constructed building already sided. Maybe because the building was built by the Amish, but the wood siding reveal was of pretty odd dimensions... so i needed an electrical box with a base that could be modified. I used by Milwaukee rotary too (a Man-Dremel) to notch out the base to match the reveals. The weight and feel of this product FAR exceeded my expectations. It appears to be extremely durable!
