Solid, well-engineered adjustable computer desk

Heavy-gauge, very solid black-coated stamped, drilled and tapped steel construction was a breeze to assemble. Instructions were extremely clear. Sleek, attractive minimalist design. All components arrive in excellent condition, and fit each other exactly as designed. NOTE ON ASSEMBLY: Instructions are very clear. READ them, too; don't just look at the pictures. At the bottom of every page, the assembly pamphlet clearly advises to WAIT to tighten ALL screws until ALL screws have been threaded into place. This is REALLY IMPORTANT: do this for a straight, rigid assembly. It's designed this way so that final tightening provides a uniform tension as things get tightened. Got that right the first time around: my desk is flat on its broad feet and dead level. NOTE ON USE WITH KEYBOARD TRAYS: This is on me: I should have waited to order a keyboard tray until I had the desk at hand; I ordered the familiar sturdy Vivo, https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01H7UGD7Y/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1, and found that the desk's sturdy cross braces do not have sufficient space for this model's bracket. There is 11" of free space under the desktop from front edge to the front cross brace; the tray model I'd ordered requires 18". Again: my problem, but good to know, in retrospect! This keyboard tray is probably unsuited for most electric desks. SAFETY NOTE (unrelated to quality of product) The only snag was a literal one encountered during unpacking: the staple on the end of the red ribbon that secured the plastic bag containing the instruction sheet to the shipping container. The red ribbon extended outside the box (where it was firmly taped to the outside of the package) so it would be clearly visible; I did not anticipate that as I grabbed the ribbon and yanked it, there might be a -staple- securing the end of the ribbon inside the box to the instructions baggie. Ouch!. (This is in no way a problem with the product.) COMMENTS: Great product, reasonable price, fine value. - Seller might consider including front-to-back mounting area underneath for accessories is 11" max; this is not a typical spec, and may be typical of adjustable-height desks. Velcro wire management strips were included; obviously, I have a couple more to deploy. - Wire basket that holds power supply and excess cable behind the cross-braces seems to have been folded the wrong way around to fit as indicated in the instructions. the tabs on the brace to hold it are a nice, snug fit for the wire gauge, but the transverse reinforcing wires of the basket are on the outside of the basket, so that the basket cannot be inserted into the tabs unless it's oriented opposite the view in the instructions. Definitely would buy again, but almost certainly will not need to do that: solid, attractive and comfortable product.

Very nice desk, (almost) perfect

First off, I really like this desk. It looks nice and is built well, and it feels like it's higher quality than you would expect from the price. Here are the two things you probably care about most: Setup - It's pretty easy to setup. Admittedly, I've put together a lot of desks for home and work, so I have a pretty good system, but it took me less than an hour to completely unpack and assemble the desk. I was able to do everything by myself, although I needed help moving the desk. There are times during setup that it would have been nice to have a second person, but not many times. Motor - The motor works well and can lift a reasonable weight. I bought this desk largely because I bought a different, pneumatic desk without checking the weird recommendations, and quickly found out that it wasn't made to have 3 monitors on it. This desk is much better, and easily lifts my monitors. There are a few things that could be better. However, none of these made me feel like the desk didn't deserve 5 stars. 1. The motor is a bit slow. Others have noted this. This didn't bother me at all, but if you want a desk that raises quickly, you're going to need to spend a lot more. 2. The desktop comes in two pieces. Again, others have noted this, and I don't think it's a big deal, but it might be for some. 3. The power cables are not secure (I'm talking about the cables that came with the desk, not cables for my monitors and such). This one bothered me the most, and I think that if the rest of the desk wasn't so nice, I wouldn't have noticed, but since the desk feels like it's high quality, the cable issue really stands out. There are two problems. The first is that the cables are too long, so they either hang down and are easy to get your legs tangled in, or you have to find some way to secure them. I used tape, but to my point earlier, it makes it feel cheap and like they didn't think it through. The second problem is that there's a tray to hold the power adapter, and it is underneath in the middle of the desk. Again, it's easy to kick if you're shifting your legs. This one is more irritating though, because the tray is connected to the desk by two tiny hooks, so when you kick it, the whole thing falls off. It reminds me a bit of that old board game Mouse Trap - just a tiny bump and the whole thing comes crashing down. Similar to the cable issue, I put some tape over the hooks, and now it doesn't fall off, but it really cheapens the whole thing. If it wasn't for the cable / tray issues, this desk would feel like an amazing steal. Instead, it feels like it's exactly what you're paying for. But since those issues are easily resolved by just some tape that you can't see unless you're under the desk, I would absolutely buy this again and am very happy with the purchase.

Above & beyond my expectations

Very well made; very stable; incredibly quiet and extremely smooth operation. Great range in height. Amazingly easy to assemble; a great deal of care was put into the packaging and instructions. Looks excellent. Will highly recommend. I intend to purchase one more for my other office.

Functional and looks great

This is a simple but functional standing desk! I love the light color and the size is perfect. It is a bit loud but unless someone is taking a nap beside you, it’s a reasonable volume. You can program pre-settings which is great. Only big complaint- there is a basket for cords/power strip, but if you cross your legs at your desk you will constantly bang your knee on it and dislodge it. As a result, it’s not functional and I removed mine. Picture for reference
