I love the sizes of these canvases. The canvas is kind of loose on the sides in parts. I think it's mostly aesthetic but when you're trying to sell your art that's important!

These canvases are not the greatest quality. I wouldn't use them for painting anything you wish to sell. They ARE however, great for practice or for collage, mixed media art where the quality of the canvas itself is not as important. They are thin, the canvas is rough, and the actual depth of the frame is only about 1/2 inch, the quality of the stapling is poor too. I use them for mixed media, so they'll be ok for that. I forgot how small 5x7 really is, so i clearly got the wrong size but I made it work. I purchased them for my son's 5th birthday party we had a painting station for his friends to paint their hands and take them home.
