Bought this mic for the Alter Table of my church as an alternative of my Pastor using a headset mic. Both my Pastor and Deacon love it. After a proper volume adjustment, this mic picked up sounds within a wide area regardless of movement which totally out performed the nuisance of wearing any headset. The downside is the cable is thinner than most mic cables and is attached to the mic. I would of preferred a jack in the mic so when the cable goes bad, you merely replace it.
