I ordered these pillows a couple of days ago; I was hesitant because I’ve never bought a pillow set that was more than $10, but my neck has been killing me, so I said to myself, “Self, you deserve to have nice pillows!” The package arrived within a couple of days. As I opened the box, I wasn’t sure how two fluffy pillows would be able to fit in that small of a box. The pillows were vacuum sealed and rolled up. I opened the packages and took the pillows out. It took them about a half hour or so to fully expand, but as you can see from the pictures, they are so thick and fluffy; they’re also fairly heavy which was surprising to me. The outside fabric is so silky smooth. I’m not sure what fabric is used, but these pillows stay cool no matter which side they are on - which is very important. You never have to flip the pillow over to the cool side because both sides are the cool side! There’s a zipper on the side of the pillow that’s hidden pretty well; I almost didn’t notice it. This zipper allows you to remove some of the shredded memory foam just in case the pillows are too thick for your liking. They’re perfect for me just the way they are, but if you’re a stomach sleeper, you may want to take some of the foam out. I definitely recommend these pillows to whoever wants a thick, heavy, high quality, memory foam pillow. Money well spent! ... show more

I bought these pillows a month ago and have used one of them every night for the past three weeks. This is the perfect pillow for me. Firm enough to provide excellent support, yet soft enough to provide a very comfortable night's sleep. Upon receipt of the package, I removed the covers and washed them, then allowed the pillows to decompress overnight. Next day, they were ready for use. I never detected any odor from them, offensive or otherwise. I like these pillows so much that I purchased another pair last night, just so I won't have to embark on a frustrating search for replacements any time soon. The only negative comment I would make about this product concerns the flimsy plastic zippers, as the teeth are very tiny and don't appear to be made to withstand many openings and closings. Re-zipping the pillow is essentially a two-person job - one to push the zipper teeth together, and another to very slowly force the zipper handle toward closure. ... show more

These pillows are okay pillows. I want to give them 5 stars but the foam is VERY LUMPY. Like super lumpy, you can see it through the pillows. I bought a total of 4, 2 queen and 2 king and they are all like that. I wish the foam pieces were smaller. I could take some out but then I will have a droopy, lumpy pillow. I will say I don’t feel like it gets hot. It’s not cool to to the tough though. ... show more

Never have I bought pillows that came with instructions now saying that I followed all the instructions and I slept quite well last night. We will be taking out some of the fluff because it is too fluffy for us but overall I'm quite pleased with this pillow. The zipper to take on and off is very tiny and gets stuck so would not recommend for people with arthritis or painful joints. I would recommend this pillow if you deserve to treat your self and have only bought walmart 2 pack for 15 dollars your whole life- these pillows are pricey - the most I have ever spent but I do spend ever night in bed if I'm lucky so... money well spent so far... ... show more
