I recently purchased this set to take on a cruise. Please note that the smallest of the four bags is extremely small. Maybe one that she wants to use as a carry-on, and bring your electronics or if you have numerous medical devices and equipment that may work well for you cosmetic, travel, bag, etc.. The other three bags are a very useful size. The other three size bags are very useful for numerous different items whether it be sundries, clothing, shoes, etc. I did buy packing cubes which I highly recommend. I had an amazing experience with them super organized. I was able to take them out unzip them flip the top underneath, and keep my items in my own packing cubes without having to stick them in the drawers, not knowing what might be there. I felt much safer and cleaner. Especially for undergarments and socks. Items that are small, like swimsuits it kept things very organized in my suitcase the suitcases come with amazing Storage and clips that are very similar to the Samsonite bags we already own. The exterior quality was very well-made, and they do come with a combination lock device, which I clipped the pieces in from the zipper. Just ensure the zippers work in a pop open. The handles are amazing super easy to lift these bags. The wheels and telescoping are very high-quality I found These bags to be of a much higher standard than I expected. Although they are lightweight, and they all nest together nicely they are sturdier than I would have expected. The price point is excellent for the quality. I loved having a different color bag that was very easy to detect amongst the sea of standardize colors people choose . I can say I also received a number of compliments. The only downside I could say is that the bags do not stack together so if you’re looking to stack them so you can carry that extra bag you may need or if you have small people that cannot carry their own bags, you may want to purchase us a strap to hold it in place. I chose to tip Porter very well so he brought our bags directly to our car! Lol I now live in the smarter, not harder world where certain things are worth it. ... show more

    • Stellar performance!! 3 connections with nearly maximum weight
I purchased this luggage last fall, but wanted to wait until I used it to write a review. I took a recent trip to South America which involved 3 connecting flights. The large bag weighed in at 64# and the next to the largest piece was 68#. They rolled great! I did put a strap around the outside to ensure that there wasn't too much strain on the zippers. One strap was removed by TSA someplace along the way and not returned. The zippers did great. The compartment enclosures inside the bag and little zipper pockets were very handy. I loved the Sky Blue because they were so easy to spot coming off the luggage carousel. On my return home, 2 of the 3 bags were empty and it was so nice to just nest them one inside the other. There were no dents or holes. Just a few skuffs - no fault of the quality of the luggage. I just cleaned them up with Mr. Clean eraser and they're ready for the next adventure!! My only constructive criticism is that an additional handle on the bottom of the bags would be helpful. There were times when it was difficult to just get a hold of them. I was easily able to reset the TSA lock on 2 of the bags, but could not get the lock on the 3rd bag to reset. If you have any tips on that, I would appreciate it. All in all - great bags - great price point - they were little work horses! ... show more

The hard side casing seems to be durable enough and holds a lot of luggage. The wheels are sturdy but now on my 2nd time using the set, the zipper has split open after trying to zip it closed and it’s not even stuffed. I wish I had seen the reviews about the zipper being a problem before purchasing.

    • This is a great, pretty durable set
I actually bought these last fall (2022) with the plan on using them for my annual trip to India, which requires two different plane rides plus inter-country travel. I wanted this set because of the bright color so there was no mistaking mine on the conveyer belt. I don't really need the 4 sizes but I guess can't hurt to have them just in case. I used the two biggest for my trip and they performed great. Came through the trip with some minor scuffs but those washed off. It's nice having hard sided cases to protect the contents. They come with zippered sections so you can separate items into the main section of the case and then put different things behind the zippered section if you want. One side of the case has bungee cords for strapping down things. They roll really smoothly and with the telescoping handles, were really easy to maneuver through the airport and even outside. I ended up taking the 2nd largest as a checked bag on an inter-country trip and you could tell it went through some stuff but came out with nothing but the scuff marks. One of my favorite features is the built in lock that you snap your zipper handles into. No worrying about having a separate lock (and it's TSA compliant). It's a really nice value and I'm glad I picked this set. ... show more

My pic shows darker but the purple is brighter as they show it! This luggage is good for what I got it for. Prime day sale was $169.99 so with tax $184. Bought a 3 piece clear cover set from Amazon as well and took luggage on 1st international flight.✈️ 28in had to go through a lot. There was a layover going and returning plus several times thrown in a bus or truck to a train to mini vans. Amsterdam, Belgium, Paris & London 10 day trip and this luggage still looks great! I see a few knicks but they're not noticeable. The cover took most damage but even the 28in cover can be used again. One small tear in it. No issues with zippers. It has pouches and bands inside and rolls nicely. My sister was jealous and wants a set too. I do recommend this luggage!❤️ ... show more
