I used a semi widetooth comb and comb out the front, sides and some of the middle and left the tight curls on the bottom in the back because I didn’t want the curls in the back long and I didn’t have time to trim it. I pulled one side back while combing and brushing my baby hairs down. I put two big clips on the side and because I brought the black you couldn’t see the line, it’s looked like my hair. The cap was a full cap and snug but that’s because I have a big head with hair. You couldn’t see my big plat either with the wig on. For the price of the wig it is the bomb. I knew when I got the wig I could easily pull the curls apart, however there are some shedding noted, but this is the ultimate shake and go curly wig!! It is very soft and very easy to manage. You can either use your fingers or a wig brush which thank God I already own. I take it off at night and I rot the curls back with my fingers and place it back in the bag so that the curls can hold. Once I actually slept in it and woke up and was still in love with my wig!!
