Polka dot = 3 stars '''''' Owl pattern = 4 stars '''''''' Unfortunately I have to return the cover (Polka dot one). I tested it out today at the grocery store which has standard shopping carts and the cover did not cover the sides of the cart. I don't see how it will fit Target carts much less Costco. It did stretch over the shopping cart handle snuggly but my son was able to pull it off as soon as I tried sitting him down even with sides tied down which are meant to keep cover from moving. I loved the pattern. It's a cute design although in pictures the color looks white w/polk-a-dots, but it's beige instead. Still nice. The material is thick and seems resistant. I liked that the strap ties to the cart itself for added safety. It was easy to put on while holding my son. It's also great that it folds into its own tote and you can use that pocket to store things while using it in the cart. Sadly it still does not work for us. I will continue on my quest in finding something that will work for us. UPDATE: I emailed the seller and they encouraged me to try the owl pattern cover. They offered me a discount as well. That was very nice. I used it at the supermarket and it fit great. Covered sides and handle even though velcro did not grasp on sides. Unfortunately not great at Target. The Target I go to has newer and older shopping carts. Cover does not fit well on the newer all plastic cart. Velcro sides do not grasp around the cart and sides were exposed. Cover is too small. I also had to keep tugging at it so my son would not pull it off the handle. Real bummer b/c it worked great at the market. I haven't used on a Costco cart yet but I don't see how it would fit if it doesn't work on a Target cart. I like the velcro on the sides and around the center of seat to help it stay in place on the carts that it fits well on. Pattern is cute. My son was interested in it for a while. It came w/a teether toy and you can still add more toys of your own. It also has a see thru pocket for cellphone. I don't allow my son to play w/electronics yet but I can see how that is useful. I inserted his toy phone instead. He loved that. CONS: Difficult to fold back into a small pouch (like when you first open it). Seems to be much thicker onced washed and used and folding. The safety strap does not tie around the shopping cart seat for added safety, and side velcro doesn't always attach depending on shopping cart style such as the ones at Safeway or Target. Lastly, it's machine washable but not able to put in dryer. Not completely satisfied but it is better than others I've tried. UPDATE 3/2019: I still own the owl pattern cover and continue to use it til this day. I have washed and dried in machines several times and it’s still in one piece.     • Sceptical....but now a believer.
Frankly, I thought these things were a joke. We didn’t have fancy cart covers when we were kids. We just took the gems and we were stronger for it. And so when I kept seeing these, I would scroll past. But then, we went to PF Chang’s. And I’m not saying pF Chang’s is dirty. But let’s just say, the last time they wiped down their high chair was questionable. But because it’s wood, and my poor teething daughter thinks that wood is the BEST teething relief, she starts chewing on the high chair (it’s like having a puppy! There are teeth marks on the wood corners of our couch!!). I whipped out my phone and purchased this thing. They have sometimes those wipes for the grocery stores, but pretty much my daughter doesn’t like metal and won’t lick anything from the cart itself. But what I don’t trust is how many times a restaurant wipes down their high chairs. This works perfectly for that. And you can still add the ties so if you don’t want to menu pulled off the table, the toys can hang and be pulled whenever you child wants it. It’s also nice that it comes in a little bag. You just carry it and go. It doesn’t really have much room for other stuff but it can easily go in a diaper bag. Or if you are just grabbing your wallet you can put that in. Or some reusable bags if you are going grocery shopping. Washing the things is easy. We just threw it in the wash because eventually, something is going to spill st a restaurant. But it’s quick and easy. Seriously. If your on the fense, get it. If nothing but peace of mind for high chairs. ... show more

Pros: I liked that it has its built in storage, cart seating was easy to fold, and washable. Material and batting Very soft. My grandson is now 17 months and we’re still use it. Cons: I wish it was bigger. The shopping carts are much bigger and doesn’t fit and can’t put the safety belts on. Overall it’s wonderful… P.S. We’ll be needing another one by October when the new grandson get a little bigger. ThankYou for a great item especially in these times… ... show more

Love this cover. I was skeptical at first, wondering if I needed such a product. But I know high chairs and shopping carts are just teeming with germs so I decided to buy one. I was given one as a hand me down and that one was another company's, it just seemed so big and bulky. I wanted something small that I could stash in my car at all times so I'd always have it when going out. This cart cover is so great. It comes in a plastic vinyl zipper bag. And the cover itself is sewn such that you can flip the entire thing into itself. It seals with velcro and has straps so you can easily take it anywhere. This scores major points for me because the point is to keep the germs away. So I just fold the "dirty" side in and pop it into the baggie, seal it up and off I go with my baby. I can do it one handed with baby in my other arm. It fits great and the circle design on the fabric isn't gender specific or hard to look at. I am buying a second one for my other child! ... show more

**UPDATE** The customer service for this company is great! They promptly contacted me apologizing and offered our money back. I didn't see the message for a long while and when I replied, they still gave me a full refund for the product! I like that it folds into a bag and seems more comfortable for my baby girl to sit on, rather than the cart bars themselves. I don't like how there is only one tiny strap holding my baby across her midsection because she isn't secure at all. It is too big on her and she could fall over if I let go of her, which defeats the purpose. My girl is 7 months and is very wiggly so it comes off too easily also. I've seen so many with the shoulder straps and I wish this had them. I thought it would be more secure than it is. The cover itself has strings to tie onto the cart.
