My wife and I are older parents and are both experiencing back strain from carrying our baby boy and he is only 13 lbs! The Mamapod baby carrier with support pole appeared to be the perfect solution. The carrier arrived promptly after we ordered it and it arrived in good condition. The included instructions were simple to follow and we were able to get the carrier adjusted quickly. The carrier fit both my wife's body and my body comfortably with ample padding and support for our comfort and the baby's comfort. The materials and workmanship are high quality. The support pole is very light and easy to fold and store due to the magnetic couplings. There are lots of nice details that my wife and I appreciate, such as a removable back panel to expose a mesh so that the baby does not get too hot, lots of pockets for storing stuff and a place to attached the support pole when not being used. Our baby was very comfortable sitting in the carrier in both the front and rear facing positions. Attaching the support pole is very easy by simply inserting the pole into hole in the bottom of the seat. The pole is adjustable so that both my wife and I can use it given our different heights. When we are not using the pole it doubles as a nice walking stick for hiking! Overall, we are glad we purchased this unique product and highly recommend it if you are looking for a high quality carrier that can also take the load off your back!

I’ve bought a few carriers and this is definitely my favorite one! My son is 33lbs and it works great for him he’s always so comfortable! I love the mesh cloth and the little hoodie, the only thing I don’t like is the chest strap is a little high. Highly recommend!

We are an active family with older children, and often we go places where a stroller is not a practical option. You would think carrying a 9 month old baby wouldn’t get tiring, but it most certainly does. The new Mamapod seems to fit the bill. I've had numerous types of carriers, but they always seem to only work for specific situations—for example, front facing in, forward facing out, back or hip. Some of the carriers I have do advertise multiple positions, but are really only comfortable one position. And, in many cases, my little one is not very comfortable either. On the other hand, the Mamapod is very comfortable for me to wear and with the pole to support my back...it's a no brainer! My daughter seemed to prefer the forward facing option. She is at the age that she wants to be able to look out and interact with the world around her. Other carriers that I have used in the forward facing out position did not seem to provide the necessary support for my daughter She either seemed to slouch or did not feel secure. The Mamapod provides the perfect amount of support needed for my daughter to feel secure with no slouching at all. The adjustability of the Mamapod carrier is amazing. It can be cinched down small enough to fit my petite frame, and then adjusts out again to fit my tall, broad-shouldered husband. All of the adjustments are simple and easy. The versatility to fit multiple body sizes is wonderful. I really love the new Mamapod and its versatility!! Thank you Mamapod!!

Really happy with this purchase! I spent a lot of time researching baby carriers and this one met all of our criteria. I baby wear A LOT during the day everyday, my baby is a contact napper and our baby carrier has been my salvation. My husband also wears our baby very often for naps or anytime we go out and I need a break. Our first carrier just became impractical when she grew, I needed a hip seat with great back support. When I saw the Mamapod had a support pole, I was sold! I find this carrier to be very nice looking, comfortable and practical. When I’m not using the pole when I’m out I use the pocket to carry my phone and wallet, it’s perfect for that! The only thing that I find not so great is the location of the waist belt buckle, it digs into my hip bone and I have to adjust it a few times but once I get it adjusted correctly it’s just fine and I can wear it for hours. I highly recommend this carrier!

This carrier is amazing. I have owned an Onya, an Ergo, and an Infantino. This one surpasses them all. Way to go, Momapod! I love the pole, though my husband had to lower it for me by removing a section. I am very petite. It would be nice if they had a petite size pole as an option. But I love the carrier and so does my 9 month old! The weight is distributed very well and it does not bug my back.
