As a small business owner constantly seeking ways to streamline but still look professional, finding the right hardware, displays and tools is paramount. The Shopify POS Terminal Countertop Kit for USB-C Tablets has been a game-changer for doing retail pop ups and art fairs by offering a seamless solution for accepting payments and managing transactions. Previously I had been using my iPad to do checkout at events. It was clunky and handing it over to a customer to sign was always stressful, for fear it would get dropped. This setup eliminates that worry. It arrived the next day, with each component boxed separately. There were no instructions in the box, but a QR code that took you to the Shopify website help section. From there I was able to find a video online of how to do the setup. I already have a shopify account to set up was really easy and smooth. This kit includes a tablet stand and mount, the POS GO Terminal and its dock along with the cables/power cords. The POS Tablet Stand is where form meets function. It securely holds our USB-C tablet (NOT older iPads) in place with a built-in lock, ensuring it stays put during transactions. The clamp design accommodates a range of tablet sizes from 10.9” to 12.9”, making it adaptable to our needs. It has the capability for you to flip the tablet, allowing customers to review their purchases and complete transactions with ease. The stand includes 2 USB-A ports for charging other devices like card readers or receipt printers, which keeps our checkout process streamlined and efficient. I can connect it via WiFi for integrated payments through Shopify POS at shows or use an Ethernet cable for reliable wired network connectivity when set up in a retail location. You can use the POS GO terminal on its own as well if you don't have space for a tablet setup at a market or popup. Overall, I am completely thrilled with this set up. It not only elevates how my customers perceive my business because of it looks; it’s an investment in the future of our business.
