You get what you pay for. I love this helmet. I was skeptical about the drop down sun visor but it is great. I wear large glasses and it does not interfere. The sun visor is low enough that you will not have any areas of vision that are not covered and the vision is as if you were wearing optical grade sun glasses. Comfort is better than any helmet I have worn in the past. I love the ratchetting strap and was concerned for how I was going to lock the helmet on the bike. They added a 'D' ring away from the ratchetting area for that so you can lock it to your bike. The main face shield is also well made, and you are very well protected from the wind. Lifting it one notch lets plenty of cool air in for comfort when needed. I would definitely buy again. It was also delivered days ahead of schedule. ... show more

The most comfortable helmet I've ever worn. Eight or nine hours a day cross country and I could have gone further. This helmet has style and the sun shade is easy to deploy, Not inexpensive, but you only get what you pay for.

Shoei has been most comfortable helmet I’ve ever owned. Also have the Neotech II for cold weather riding. Everything on these helmets are smooth to operate, vents work well and the sun shield is a big plus. Highly recommend.
