This is a GREAT, midweight, over-knee boot! And, great price. I have owned (& used tons) a version of this faux suede boot, but calf length. I found this similar one that's at the more trendy over-the-knee length, and am THRILLED with it! It's perfect to throw over leggings to dress up an outfit with a dress/jumper or simply upgrade a jeans outfit. The mid-heal lends a dressy edge, but still walkable/wearable all day/night. The faux suede is SUPER soft with a nod to casual dress up without going all out like pantent leather would do to an outfit. While these boots could take a quick sprinkle, they do not have enough sole (or fabric finish) to be used as straight rain/snow walking boots [merchandise note: however, there are boots varieties on same product thread offered by manufacturer that have both platform & combat soles]. That said, I was surprised at the room in the boot--shoe, calf, & thigh--for a truly suede boot (not elastic/spandex). I typically wear a size 8.5 shoe, but 9 in boots to allow for thicker winter socks. Easy to slide on (inside edge partial zipper). The back of the thigh has a black triangle elastic piece to help accomodate larger thighs. While I have athletic thighs, I was surprised that the top rim of the boot did not lay flush to my leg (see pic posted of boot over just tights); though, after going back to manufacturer's posted video, there was thigh space on model as well. So, I will be wearing these boots with thicker leggings and/or jeans. I included a picture with me (5'7", 155lbs, athletic build) in tights (size M) wearing the boots (size 9, mid-heal 2.4"). Also note that while the product description says "thigh high," they're definitely more like the (barely) "over the knee" product description on my 5'7" body (i.e. A LOT of thigh showing if considering wearing with mini-skirt/shorts/jumper)! ... show more

These are nice. Comfortable heel height. Wide foot friendly. Perfect length. The ribbing is good for keeping them up. These are not for standing for long periods. Adding padding to the shoe will improve comfort.

I am IN LOVE with these boots!!!! 😍😍😍😍😍 Ili wasn't sure how the taupe color would be because I didn't see any other pictures of them here, but the taupe is a gorgeous color!!!!! I've had my eye on these for a while and VERY glad I picked them up, because they are comfortable and super stylish throughout fall, winter, spring. They do come up fairly high on the thigh, which I like, because they are not just "over the knee", but actually come up a good ways on the leg. They are a really nice and soft suede material and will be able to stretch just slightly for larger legs, or to be worn over jeans, or leggings, or tights etc. I like them A LOT!!!! The heel is also the perfect height, so it's not hard on your ankles being too high and the soles are not too stiff that you get cramps in your foot while walking. I'd say go a size up maybe for wearing socks with them, because normally I wear a size 7 exactly in regular shoes, but boots are always half a size to a full size up. I bought these in a size 8 and they fit perfectly with a light sock, but I don't think they'd fit with a thick wool sock. Instead, get a thinner fleece lined sock!! 🤩 I think because these slouch just a little on my legs I may sew a pice of elastic inside of them behind my thigh, so that they are slightly tighter. That's a super easy fix that I've used on this type of suede boot before, and it really helps a lot if the boot is falling down too much. Although, these are not falling too much at all. Just a preference thing. Id definitely order these in another color too. They're really pretty. Of all the boots I've bought on Amazon, these and one other pair are my favorites!!     • Perfect for thick thighs!
My biggest concern was getting knee high boots that would fit my thick thighs without making them look like stuffed sausages and these did just that. They actually are loose on the thigh so they slide down a bit as you walk, which can be annoying, but I'd rather deal with that then having them look like they're cutting off the circulation in my legs.
