bought 2 sets of these to cover our hiking shoes due to hiking after heavy rains in the ADK of NY, my daughter pulled the strap on one of hers and it tore off leaving a hole, we tried to use a zip tie to secure it below the hole however she still took on water when we were walking through water that did not even cover the bottom of the shoe. I wore mine for the first couple of miles and although they did keep my feet dry I found them to be some what bulky and kept the heat in my feet a bit too well. ... show more
