The suit works well against rain Seems to be pretty good quality so far and it does keep you dry. Only thing I have issue with is that the zipper is on the left instead of normal and apparently it comes a little smaller than the size says, so order a size bigger than you need , jacket cuffs slide up my arms and pants ride to just about top of boot but other than that I'm happy with it. Will order a size bigger soon and my son is shorter so he'll have this one.

I had an opportunity to wear my new rain gear today while riding my motorcycle in mild and heavy rain. We received over an 1" of rain in 2 hours. I stayed dry with the exception of the water that entered around my neck (neck is a little loose). My max speed was around 45MPH and the average speed around 30MPH. I do have a couple of things I believe can be improved on. The pants are really loose around the legs (I have decently sized legs) and the material was slightly touching my exhaust pipes. The quality of the zipper; the zipper is very small and I fear it will have no durability. The interior of the gear has no liner, basically making the outfit a sweatbox. The wrist cuffs are elastic but are not tight to the wrist, allowing water up the sleeve if you aren't wearing gloves. This is a good product for the price in my opinion. There are better products on the market, but you will surely pay the price for better quality. As of my first ride with this gear, i prefer this over the cost of $150+ Harley rain gear. Time will tell if I keep this opinion.

I bought the pants, jacket, and boot covers. I keep them in one of my saddle bags, they take up very little room. With the entire suit on, and a full face helmet, there is little room for water to make its way to your dry clothes underneath. I have been in torrential rain, behind tractor trailers to make matters worse, and after 35 miles of that, I was completely dry when I got home and got the rain gear off. I opted for the bright orange for maximum visibility in heavy rain. Anyone that rides a bike knows that you are invisible to most people in the best of conditions, and heavy rain can make you hard to see from other's perspective. Spend the money, stay dry, it's something you hope you don't have to use, but if you need it, it's there and it's good quality material, hasn't melted from touching the straight pipes, so that's good enough for me. That was my biggest concern, was it melting, because my custom pipes stick out a bit and get really hot, I have the scars on my legs to prove it. I would recommend this brand to anyone that rides. Tip: the boot covers work best when worn under the pants leg, rather than over, it helps keep loose material to a minimum and road water from running down the pants leg into the boot covers.

I give it one star because I can not give it 0. The fact of the matter is, this product failed its purpose. I purchased with the intent to use it as I rode my bike to work whenever it would rain. I had a chance to give it a field test yesterday and while most of my pants were not soaked through and through, the bottom part of them were as was my shirt and arms. My pants were still wet and it did fail the underwear test, which implies if your underwear got wet, you definitely got soaked. So unfortunately for a product whose purpose is to keep you dry, HWK Motorcycle Rain Suit for Men and Women, fails at its intended purpose and you should seek other products, perhaps even from other brands, though I cannot give full certainty that all of HWK's products lack this type of quality. The purpose of this review is merely to inform of my experience with this product, and I certainly hope the company learns from it and improves the quality of their testing phase.
