  • These + Booster Straps = no more shin bang!
Size: Large
Added these and booster straps to my ski boots and I no longer have shin bang. I have very thin calves, so this helped fill in the tongue gap that would eventually happen. I ended up cutting a bit off the bottom to fit comfortably in my boot, which the instructions recommend. Only negative is the price. High price for 2 pieces of foam, but not being miserable on the mountain is worth it. ... show more

  • Resolved my loose calf issue!
Size: Small
I had issues where it would not matter how tightly I buckled my boots that they were not tight enough to control my boots from moving on steeper terrain. My boots oherwise fit well, but I have thinner calves. I moved my buckles in and had them as tight as possible. I put these BEHIND my calves (outside of boot insert/inside shell) vs the suggested in front of calves. I did not want to be pushed back in my boots and would be fine if they provided more forward lean. I did not really notice a change in my stance, but these did the trick! I still have to buckle my boots so tightly that I have to release my upper buckles on the lift. However, I am now skiing steep terrain without feeling like my boots are moving around. If you have thin calves, then I would give these a try. It really improved things without going to a boot fitter. ... show more

  • Good bandaid
Size: Small
Needed these for snowboard boots. Was a great bandaid since my boot style didn't come in a wide size + had to get a bigger size to compensate. The Velcro doesn't seem to work as well as it should, but once your adjusted and tightened up, not much really moves.

  • For the skinny-legged gentleman
Size: Large
After years of snowboarding and skiing with boots that were too wide around the ankles and calves, this product completely solved my problem. Now I can actually run my boots much looser and still have really positive contact between my shin and the tongue of the boot. It immediately made me a better rider, and it cut down on foot soreness since I was no longer flexing my foot to keep my heel down. ... show more

  • Great for eating space between Snowboard boots liner and shell.
Size: Small
These work great to take up the space in the front my snowboard boots. This is the only ones I could find that I can put on outside of the liner which is where I have the most pace left over and dont have to crank the boot down so tight. Would work well for those with low volume calves

  • Only if reccomended by bootfitter, or casual skier
Size: Large
I would only reccomend these if A) they were reccomended to you by a professional bootfitter or B) you’re a casual skier, ie middle-aged cruiser, who prefers comfort over performance I’m an all-mountain high-performance skier who unfortunately has a decent amount of boot issues so I thought these might help. If you are a casual skier looking for comfort, these might help, but for me, they pushed me in the backseat too much— granted again, this was an endeavor on my own part, not the reccomendation of a bootfitter, which should be your priority. But for the cost, they are at least worth a shot for the person in pain! ... show more

  • Stop shin bang and transfer power
Size: Large
Not only eliminates shin bang, but helps transfer more pressure to the skis. Also can help when boots may be too flexible but you don’t want to buy new boots... fantastic product. First day of use was painful for my legs but that was all it took to break them in.... you cannot have any seams like long Johns etc between your sock and these... also, I didn’t need the velcro, I like how they are easily removable. ... show more

  • Can't secure in boot
Size: Large
The provided Velcro does not stay stuck to the shin pad, causing them to move around. Once the boot is tight, it's less of an issue, but getting the boot on while keeping them in place is more of a hassle than they are worth.
