The sheets are crisp and the bottom sheet has a deep enough pocket to stay tight through the night. These are not "favorite old t-shirt soft" but relatively soft for cotton. The "cream" color was actually light brown, sort of a tan. I don't expect the color to match what shows up on the computer screen, but any cream this color would be thrown out. Luckily, I was not trying to match anything, so the off-color does not matter.

At the price these are we waited months to see if they would hold up, we love them, they fit the bed and stay put, they feel so nice and they do get softer with time. This is the second set I've bought from this company and not disappointed. Quality of sheets twice the price. However, if you are looking for wrinkle-free, these aren't for you. There is no such thing as wrinkle-free cotton sheets. They do get better after multiple washes but you will be taking out the iron.

My mother is responsible for my addiction to quality sheets. I’m spoiled. I ordered these sheets assuming, despite the relatively low price, that this product was very good quality. As soon as I received them, they went into the washer, then on my bed the next day.. it’s very hard to describe the texture of the sheets, but smooth, buttery and soft Do NOT come to mind. They are noticeably rough to the hand. I would never buy them in a store. I have experience with Egyptian cotton sheets of high thread count. These sheets fail to live up to that by far. The word I keep wanting to use for the texture is “grainy” - not good.
