I just used this bag every day for 3 weeks traveling all throughout Europe. 5 planes, 3 trains, 7 stops in 6 countries. This bag was the absolute best! It's big enough to put all your essentials, a cloth tote for purchases, snacks and water bottle. When you don't have it loaded down you can bend down the flap and it looks like a regular purse. It held up beautifully and I had such peace of mind knowing it had anti-theft technology. I bought a lanyard for my phone separately and hooked in onto the key fob inside the bag. There is no signs of wear & tear at all. This is definitely my new go to travel bag! ... show more

I bought this bag for a trip to Italy, and I wanted to keep my passport and money as safe as possible. LOVED this bag for the security features, especially the locking zippers. For those features, I'd give the bag a 5 star rating. However, the strap is really not good enough for the weight of a day's necessities (which in 90'+ heat included two plastic water bottles). For safety and convenience, I used the bag as a crossbody most of the time. But the narrow straps provided for crossbody use were not enough support and my shoulder was sore a few days into our 10 day trip. I used a bandana to create a pad and eventually bought a different wider luggage strap. I wasn't sure whether this warranted a three or four star rating, but because I think the security features and overall appearance are so good, I gave it a four star rating. Wider strapping and even a bit of padding would have dispersed the pressure from the weight of the bag and would have made all the difference. If I realized this before I left, I might still have bought the bag, but definitely would have bought a pad or different strap beforehand. ... show more

Purchased this for a trip to Vienna this summer for two main reasons: 1. To use as a personal size item on the flights (Austrian Airlines has some pretty stringent size requirements) 2. For use during my trip. The versatility of the smaller, fold-over size, or the larger tote size was very convenient. Easily held multiple items including a travel size umbrella and water bottle along with the “usual” purse items. The quality of construction, design and safety features makes this purchase well worth the reasonable price. I felt very comfortable keeping my passport, credit cards and cash with me. I am really impressed by my first Sherpani bag and will be buying more from this company. I purchased this for a recent trip because I was looking for something that would hold my iPad plus my miscellaneous carry-on items on the plane flights. I wanted something smaller and more convenient than a backpack, but larger than a standard purse. This bag matched all my requirements! And the fact that the top folds over to make the bag half its size and it comes with a second strap that is shorter and more formal meant that I didn't need to take an additional purse on my travels. I was able to take this bag on long journeys around town as well as fancy parties at museums. It is really well-made and I very much like the lime green interior that gives a pop of color as well as makes things easier to find.
