This fit just fine on the "OE Replacement Chevrolet/GMC Front Bumper Face Bar (Partslink Number GM1002168)" I also bought here. I used 3/4 inch long quarter inch bolts, nylock nuts and fender washers to mount it instead of using the recommended clips because I seriously suck at parking over curbs and stops and didn't want it ripped off like the last one. Holes all lined up, pretty much perfectly, and it snugged up to the lower edge of the bumper with no unreasonable gaps (it IS flex plastic after all). installed on my 1998 chevy 1500 pickup, had drill new mounting holes cause predrilled holes wouldn't line up. once on looks great.

    • Does NOT fit OEM bumper
The 7 center holes line up just fine, but the 4 outer holes don't come anywhere close to lining up. The 2 outer most holes can't even be drilled out to fit because the whole deflector is too short to reach. Anyone using this saying it fits is 1 of 3 things: A fake review, someone who doesn't care if it flops around or not, or isn't using an OEM bumper and just got lucky because alot of aftermarket bumpers are shorter than OEM. This does not fit, plain and simple. It can't even be made to fit because there's literally nothing under the outermost holes on the bumper, and the outer holes are more important than anything. ... show more

It fit nicely on my 98. I got rid of the clips and just used regular bolts and some lock washers. Was a little hard getting it lined up. But just leave all the bolts loose untill there all in then tighten down. Fits perfect and looks great. Thanks Amazon!!

    • Not all bolt holes lined up.
Used it on my front bumper. Looks good but only 4 of the 8or 10 bolt holes lined up with the bumper holes. I attached it the best I could.
