I bought these for a friend. I'm not much for metal shelves. But these have some cool design to them, so it makes them look nice. The best part is the hold 800 pounds. She has 40 packs, single bottle water on every shelve, plus more rows stacked oon top. Fairly certain that's more than 800 lbs, but not one single area has a bend or bow from too much weight. If I ever need sturdy, I will not hesitate to get these. Very well worth the money, just for sturdiness and they aren't ugly. Assembly was a piece of cake. I have been looking for a slim and compact shelving unit to store small weights, resistance bands and yoga mat in my spare bedroom. This small room serves multiple functions; guest bedroom, home office and yoga/resistance training space. I don't like clutter and appreciate a minimalistic design style. This small shelving unit is perfect! It was so easy to snap together and is very sturdy. I appreciate the leveling feet that were included because the room I'm using this in has old, uneven, wood floors. A small adjustment and the shelf is stable with no wobble. Chose this product because I needed a shallow shelf and wow was that hard to find. Product is heavy so be careful removing it from the package on nice flooring, maybe do it on a carpet instead. Once I read the directions and realized I didn’t need the little circular disks that came in the box, it was easy for one person to put together. Also there are feet that adjust in case you have uneven floors. I didn’t need that feature but the feet also help protect the floor from the chrome metal. The only thing I didn’t like was the shelves only install in one direction, they can’t be reverted upside down with the shelf lip facing down. ... show more

    • Easy to assemble, strong, but a bit unsteady due to the dimensions

This is a super easy assembly process. It should take less than 15 minutes to put together. The material is strong too. I am not too convinced that the plastic stoppers that is given for fixing the adjustable height is going to withstand the weight capacity of 800 pounds per shelf, but that is to be seen in the future. The screw levelers are nice as well to take care of floor uneveneness. I bought a 36"x8" 3-tier shelf and I have fixed them at their highest spacing to be able to store tall items. Due to the dimensions, it feels like the slightest of impacts to the shelf is going to make it topple. This particular set of dimensions warrants an optional mechanism to secure it to a wall to prevent it from toppling. I didn't have enough space to go for a deeper shelf (say a 12" depth). That would have been another solution to the toppling possibility. As it stands, its center of gravity is way higher than it should be. Overall, it seems like a good product. ... show more
