Though pretty expensive, I am impressed with this product - the ease of assembling, the look, the choices, and most of all the capability to handle heavy loads on long shelves. I had household items lined up on the walls of my garage, and I was seeking a more orderly way to store such things as drinks and cleaning products. I wanted to have convenient access so I could pull out oldest drinks first and wanted to be able to store more items in the space. The shelves had to be narrow to not interfere with the opening and closing of car doors, and they needed to be very low to not interfere with other garage items hanging from the walls. These requirements led me to this product: 8" deep and 14" tall shelves, yes! I bought four 48" x 8" x 14" sections. I ended up after receiving the first shelves deciding on using 24" posts to get a little better storage on the bottom shelves, and Shelving.com representative helped me order those in the best way to minimize costs. There you can assemble variations not available elsewise by ordering piecemeal but not more expensively. I also bought an 18" x 18" x 48" tall section to squeeze great storage out of a small corner. The first shelf took me 30 minutes to assemble, but the second only took 10 minutes. Even when I had to replace the 14" inch posts with 24" posts it didn't take but a few minutes. I attach an after picture including the taller 18 x 18 shelf bank for a small corner, perfect. Met more than my expectations!

Overall this is a good enough item; I was able to set this up finally, though I nearly returned it because the instructions missed key features of the set-up making me lose faith in the stability of the structure. a) Step 2 of the Instructions (pic 1) talks about the clips, but not about the right-side-up feature of the clips (see pic 2) where there's an easy to miss label showing which way goes "TOP" b) Step 3 of the instructions does not point out that the shelf is to be placed with the guard-rail edging facing downwards (pic 3) - (the corner-holes are marginally conical to allow them to slip onto the clips) c) Step 4 of the instructions does not mention that the clips are to be pushed through the corner holes not just be offered as resting places to block movement of the shelves. Finally it would be good to have an option where the guard rails face upwards for those who want a ledge holding back items on the shelf and preventing them from falling down. Also note in pic 3 there are 2 uncapped wire ends towards the corner hole (on the shelf itself and on the guardrail) - these could potentially scrape or cut users when dusting/cleaning the shelves.

This shelf was just the size I needed to sit over the sink, and plenty of strength to hold a large water filter tank. No other brand comes close for a choice in dimensions. Would happily buy again!

Fantastic!! I had been looking for a small, short shelf set for under my kitchen work table for extra storage, and I found this set. It is absolutely Perfect!! I was a bit surprised at how well made and sturdy it is, and how very easy it was to put together. With this shelving I was able to free up one whole area of counter space. It easily holds the weight of my 2 Instant Pots on the top shelf, and the bottom shelf can hold 4-6 quart Sterlite storage totes, that hold my seldomly used smaller appliance items. I will definitely be buying another one for under the other side of my work table!!

This shelf accomplished exactly what I needed. Its long and fits nicely on the open shelves in my pantry and its well made, sturdy and has leveling feet. Its a nice size for holding a lot of stuff. It can also hold a lot of weight without bowing in the middle despite its length. The silver is a nice clean, modern look. I highly recommend....its worth the price, you'll have it forever.

the support posts are inset reducing the functional shelf space to about 5x5. Finding any kind of drawer storage that is tall enough and not too wide is impossible.
