    • Klix cam locks didn't work - had to drill & screw it together
I struggled with the klix cam locks. They simply kept pulling out. All of them. The shelf would just fold up like a house of cards. (I haven't had trouble with them with other shelves.) I wound up drilling and inserting actual screws. Then it held together properly.

Okay all went well until it came to the back panels. We couldn’t get them in there right no matter how we tried. We are used to putting things together and I actually like doing it usually. We are totally frustrated and may end up with no back panel at all. Other than that it is a nice sturdy bookcase. I am really disappointed but it will still suit its purpose ... show more

I have read several reviews stating the unit was falling apart and they could not finish putting it together. The unit is held together with cam-locks and they work very well. This unit is sturdy and holds up very good. If someone is complaining about the unit coming apart then they do not understand how to install the cam-locks. The cam-locks need to be tighten with a screw driver until the rubber grommet is tight in the pre-drilled hole. I believe there are 15 cam-locks and this gives the unit it's strength. ... show more

The brown and white are beautiful and the quality is very good. It is stronger than the bookcase I bought before. There are numbers on each wooden board. The installation is very simple!

I love this bookshelf. I love the fact that the shelves are adjustable because it allowed me to customize it to fit my needs. I really needed shelves for both my DVD collection and my board games and this worked out perfectly.

Solid and easy to put together. I did it by myself though parts would be easier with a second set of hands briefly. More solid than most particle board furniture. I am impressed and very pleased with my purchase!

I have to give this one star. I was given a defective product so none of the cam lock would twist and stay secure in any of the panels. It's like the holes in the wood panels of the book case were to big. Pieces would just fall off. I emailed them and they sent me a video like I was going out wrong! I tried calling the number on the instructions and got a car warranty place. I'm so mad because I just wasted my money! ... show more
