Bought this for my teen son as this was his first razor/ shaving kit. He went to a barber for his first shave. Since his facial hair is coarse, after using the straight blade, the barber also used an electric razor to achieve the close shave. He has very thick facial hair, so getting a close shave is a bit difficult. For his first shave he went to a barber, who used an electric shaver after using the straight blade in order to achieve the clean cut. Overall, this was a great purchase. Would definitely recommend this product!
