Great razor. There is a nice weight to it that allows smooth shaves. The head is a little more difficult to load blades than others but I like the longer handle. Shave gel, and aftershave are very good. But I miss the Trader Joe's shave cream.

Since his facial hair is coarse, after using the straight blade, the barber also used an electric razor to achieve the close shave. He has very thick facial hair, so getting a close shave is a bit difficult. For his first shave he went to a barber, who used an electric shaver after using the straight blade in order to achieve the clean cut. Overall, this was a great purchase. Would definitely recommend this product!

The kit is great for a starter kit, but the brush leaves much to be desired. It's hard, thin and doesn't lather up very well. On the other hand, the razor, preshave oil and aftershave are awesome.
