Features

  • Skate on all Surfaces: These 72mm skateboarding wheels were designed to explore the world. Start cruising down the backroads, taking hard curves, or skating at the park.
  • Shark Wheel's Advantage: Shark Wheels tend to push small objects left and right out of the way when riding, which provides a smooth ride unlike a traditional wheel that acts like a steamroller.
  • Less Friction: Shark Wheels have 57% less friction when the wheels are in motion. Combined with California-made high-rebound polyurethane which gives the board extra speed, range, and comfort.
  • Less Shock: The unique 30-degree approach angle strikes objects at an angle. Like driving a car over a speed bump at an angle to reduce shock, smoothing the ride with its sine wave approach angle.
  • Made in California: Unlike 95% of other electric skateboard companies, Shark Wheels sources the best high-rebound polyurethane in the world. This leads to a fast and smooth riding experience.

  • Shark wheels are great.
Color: Sapphire
These rubber wheels haven't cracked yet and show no signs of doing so anytime soon, seems to be made out of good material I might get more for my other boards maybe red or orange.

  • The Perfect Wheels for Cruising?
I've been using these wheels almost exclusively for about 5 months now. Let me say, these are probably the best wheels you will ever cruise on. At 70mm they are a great size for going over cracks, bumps, and generally anything that would otherwise stop you. At a 78a durometer, they are soft enough that the ride is considerably more comfortable and stable than your standard longboard wheels. Combine these with the sine wave shape of these wheels and you have the smoothest ride you could hope for on a skateboard. These wheels are fit for rain and shine. Though your bearings might object to riding in the rain, these wheels certainly won't be the reason you would stop. The aforementioned combination of shape, size, and softness means puddles are no longer a threat to you. Additionally, since these wheels are so smooth, it means that you can achieve great speeds even if your bearings are totally ruined. (Side note: these wheels are absolutely great for downhilling since they can give you such high speeds). On the note of speed, these wheels give me some of the best speed I've ever had while skating (and that's across multiple different types of bearings). Now, I'm not sure I'm comfortable saying they're the fastest wheels you'll buy, since honestly, the speed is comparable to any wheel of a similar size and durometer. What I can say, however, is that the shape of these wheels gives them the edge over any traditional wheel. My reason for saying this is that I have 70mm, 80a longboard wheels that I used before these and they would get tripped up by the usual suspects: pebbles, twigs, crosswalk bumps, some of the gnarlier sidewalk cracks. With these wheels having a sine wave shape, these objects (obviously with the exception of the more severe obstructions) are no longer something to be feared. They will simply give you a bump, or just get thrown out of your path by the sine shape. As for grip on the road, Shark wheels have an exceptional grip on surfaces, even in wet conditions. You will feel minimal, if any slippage at all while you speed through parking lots, sidewalks, and just about any other hard, even-ish ground surface. Now, these wheels have only a couple shortcomings. These wheels make the claim that they can go through gravel, sand and water. Like I said, they can go through water reasonably well for a wheel, though the deeper puddles (ones that are high enough that they make contact with your axle nut) will definitely cause you to slow down, if not bring you to a sudden stop. The same can be said for gravel. Small bits of gravel spread apart won't be much of a problem but larger bits could definitely be a danger to you. As for sand, the advertising is misleading. You wont be shredding through the beach any time soon. Any patch of sand that's maybe a foot or less could possibly be suitable to go through, but any longer than that and you're probably better off walking. Aside from those, the other false claim is that these wheels can slide. They are definitely not made for sliding. At 78a they're just too grippy to pull off any sliding with ease. Even after wearing through them for 5 months they still don't slide well at all. Aside from those critiques I really don't have any other negative thoughts on these wheels. Overall, I'd give these wheels more recommendation than any other wheel I've used. I only wish Shark would come out with a larger wheel than 70mm just for an even smoother ride. ... show more

  • Cool design
Color: Ibiza Blue
There a neat design. Hopefully they help with pebbles in the street ,three of the wheels were perfect. One of them should’ve probably been considered a defect as the mold of the design is off and did not ture up as the other three are

  • Top speed is not so great - only downfall.
Where I skate the streets are rough and the bike lane / sidewalks are always covered with gravel and rubbish. These wheels are perfect for daily commute / travels - as far as not having to pay attention to what your rolling over and just moving forward. The only problem which isn't really a problem, more of a preference is that the top end / top speed is most definitely slower than your generic long board wheels. I would say I top out at about 10 mph with these instead of 13/14 mph on regular generic garbage wheels. Its just more kicking and less stressing about hitting a gravel piece at the perfect angle to make you bail / faceplant. 4 stars because my pupp and I have the n33d for sp33d. ... show more

  • I will NEVER use normal wheels again. These changed my experiences.
These wheels have removed my need to carry a flashlight at night. Unless I'm going incredibly slow (i.e. I'm texting and don't want to stop, but should) do i stall on small cracks/branches The waves in the wheel really do make a major difference. I can easily roll from the lightest kick. I don't have great vision, residually at night, and after not seeing an acorn i broke my arm at 25 which was VERY embarrassing. After that i ALWAYS carried a flashlight. Till i got these. Now i don't stress on it. I won't say i "roll" over acorns now, but i don't trip on them anymore. Best example i can think of that most experience are those bumps at crosswalks, they're usually yellow and for the blind i believe. On normal wheels they would immediately bring me to a near complete stop and i couldn't make it past them. I used to avoid them because of that and when I couldn't avoid them I'd hop off the board running to catch my board. Now I'll roll over them. Don't get me wrong they do still slow me down but not by that much. I could easily roll over them now. At first I will admit, they feel a bit unbalanced and you feel the wobble, (much like center of gravity shifted ever so slightly from side to side) i noticed most when i was making sharp turns it used to cause me to slip, but I don't have that issue anymore. ive it a little time and youll notice faster speeds and longer distances, with clean wheels just oiled i used to go from the top of a hill about 250-300 feet before going to slow that i was nearly stopped with these i get to 400-450. That's pretty subjective but it's very noticeable when you ride it. I mean I'd doubt the improvement if not my own experience. Overall my best experience is that rocks/sticks/cracks cause less stumbles and trips when you ride. My ONLY kinda issue is they don't last as long as my normal wheels did. Those lasted me a very long time, well i don't have dates but these ones ones need to be replaced and i ride less than i used to. They do lack.. tread? Idk they don't grip the ground correctly. When I try avoiding things. Now i can't verify they go out quicker but they feel like they stopped working faster, and with so much less contact surface and my avoiding so much less things that would wear them down, it's very likely they are going out faster. None the less. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND these to anyone. I even bought some for my bro, and will buy again. ... show more

  • Not for everyone but amazing for those who need them
Color: Black
I would say only buy these if you live in a place that tends to have a good amount of gravel on the roads/sidewalks or other small pebbles or just cracked ground in general. this is because I have noticed that these wheels take obstacles like these way better than normal wheels, for example I hit a pebble and felt the board start to stop like it would on normal wheels but than the pebble felt like it got pushed out and I was able to just keep going with only a small hiccup but never getting thrown off the board. however when on smooth ground it does feel a little bumpy nothing major but it is definitely not smooth like normal wheel. ... show more
