I got these for my husband’s longboard and he rides it more often now because he feels safer. The wheels don’t stop when they go over small rocks or acorns on the road like before. He says he feels safer with them knowing he won’t fly off his board from an abrupt stop.

Of course they look interesting. Some say cool, some say dumb. To me, weirder is always better so I am loving the way they look and roll. The main difference I am noticing is smoother and faster. Of course my observations are not one to one. I am comparing 59mm 80 hardness wheels to these shark wheels that are 50mm and 78 hardness. I feel like they are close enough to compare. My roads are decent but not buttery smooth so it's hard to know exactly what hardness is best for low rolling resistance on my specific roads. All I know is that the shark wheels roll smoother and faster. That could be because of the different hardness levels. The scientific approach would be to compare these wheel on multiple terrains and see which terrains are better suited for each wheel. However, for me and my roads, the shark wheels are way better.

I had the original wheels that came with my nickel penny board and after 6 years the wheels gotten worn out. So I decided to give these a shot because I like going fast and cursing the streets in NY. Which means cracks, pits, manholes. Random debris. I can say it’s a lot smoother going over things and it grips to the ground. I feel safer and happy with the product!

I wanted to take my throwback board and give it a smooth ride so I could ride along while my kids were out long boarding. These wheels didn't come with bearings and I put in some Red Yellow Jackets bearings to match the red core centers. This ride is smooth! I was afraid to buy 70mm wheels for my old Powell-Peralta board and chose the 60mm size to play it safe. That may be my only regret is not buying a bigger wheel, although the smaller wheels were plenty big enough to ride along with the kids. The kids liked the feel of my new wheels and said they wanted some Shark Wheels for their boards. This may give me the chance to try the larger wheels.

They are cool looking, ride 98% as smooth as a regular shaped wheel. They however aren’t as fast as other soft wheels I have….54mm 78a ricta clouds or 55mm 83a Bigfoot wheels. I have tried all 3 with the exact same brand ceramic bearings and these don’t give me the same feeling that the other wheels give me where I feel like the skateboard is so smooth and fast that it almost is increasing in speed as it goes. And these are 60mm 78a. Kind of disappointed honestly. Ok the other thing is the width…I put them on 8” trucks with an 8.5” deck and they still hang out the side of the deck slightly on each side. That’s not a bad thing, but don’t think you’re going to try to put them on the same size trucks as the deck you’re going to use unless you want them substantially wider than the deck. Pretty cool wheels but I am not super thrilled about my $50 purchase. I guess I tested the waters for your sake…

Smoothest wheels ever! Seriously means night and day difference between the wheels that came with my board and these. I'm now able to go over any bumps, gravel, rough terrain where before I couldn't skate over anything but my wood floors stopping at the room transsoms. The wife has happily kicked me to our rough country road for my shenanigans. I love these. The ride is so smooth now. I just cannot get over how awesome these are!
