This takes a bit of scheming to pull off. While the ball looks 100% like a famous name golfball that starts with "C", it does not feel at all like a normal golfball. Very light in comparison. I had to tee it up for my unsuspecting victim. Twice that did not work, as the person naturally wants to re-tee it to his or her own sweet spot. But once you figure that out, and get someone to bite, it's pretty funny. I wasn't sure what this would do to my brother's $500 driver, so I offered him to hit my new $500 driver, somewhat nervously, I will admit. Wasn't sure what it would do to mine, either! It's basically a thin plastic ball full of talc powder. Doesn't really "explode", but definitely shatters into 1,000 pieces with a huge cloud of "smoke". We all got a massive laugh. And my club was fine. Just wiped the powder off with a towel, and good to go. Got my nephew the next day, although he twice picked it up and said something is wrong with the ball. Very disappointed in the is item. There is NO loud noise or even a small bang. The ball shattered into pieces and didn't even "explode." A white powdery was left on the green. I was expecting a loud bang and for the ball to disintegrate. It's like someone threw baby powder down.

So you get them what is meant to destroy itself and become nothing. I got these for my grandfather who's 80+ and loves to golf. Everytime I talk with him on Sunday it's always short consisting of the weather, how he did on golf, and not much else. You ask him what he wants and days he dosent want anything, needless to say when he got these, he was very happy and thought they were brilliant and well though out. I don't know when he'll use them as I live very far from him and traveled for his birthday, but I'm certian he'll use them on his golf buddies. ... show more
