I picked these up as a gift for a friend who plays golf every weekend, and they were an absolute hit—literally and figuratively. The Shanker exploding balls look just like real golf balls out of the box, so he didn’t suspect anything. As soon as he took his first swing and the ball burst into a cloud of powder, everyone completely lost it. Even he couldn’t stop laughing once he realized what happened. We bought and repackaged these in a traditional sleeve. Buddy didn’t notice and hit one and it exploded on contact! It’s very realistic looking and didn’t throw any red flags. All 3 exploded perfectly and is definitely a prank we will buy and pull again!

    • They burst into dust but there is no loud bang.
I was hoping for an audible bang when hitting these or at least where it would make someone jump. It did not do that. Exploding in my mind goes bang. Maybe going bang would make these dangerous at that point but none-the-less, be advised, these do not go bang/boom. I have only hit one so far but it was a let down. Very disappointed in the is item. There is NO loud noise or even a small bang. The ball shattered into pieces and didn't even "explode." A white powdery was left on the green. I was expecting a loud bang and for the ball to disintegrate. It's like someone threw baby powder down.
