I was looking at some high-end cotton quilts but I didn't want to pay the high prices. I found this cotton quilt that has all of the qualities that I wanted and you just wouldn't know that it wasn't a higher-priced quilt. I love the pattern of the stitching, and the weight of the quilt is perfect for spring, summer, and early fall. The softness of the quilt is wonderful and it washed perfectly. I am 100% happy with this quilt and I will buy another. Don't hesitate in buying this quilt, I think it is quality bedding and the added pillow covers make it an even better value.

Soft as a fresh baby diaper from the old days when they were cotton. I love it because cotton has more weight to it and feels better against the skin than polyester or micro fiber. I chose the white queen and it's very large and could easily be tucked in or used like a bead spread. Cotton is rare now, and the price is too expensive for the product, but, everything is too expensive these days. Hope that changes into something more real soon!

I don’t think I’ve written a review on here in about a decade, but I get a package or two a day from Amazon. This blanket is exactly what I was looking for. I was in the market for a lightweight 100% cotton bed spread to sleep under for the summer. Many seemed gauze-like, thin, or had reviews about shrinking, pilling, and snagging. This came out of the wash even better than it arrived. I did need to straighten out the pillow shams a little before they were completely dry. I let them dry the last 25-30% out on the couch after I stretched/straightened them into the right shape. Before that, the lines were a little off. They dried perfectly after that though. The blanket came out of the dryer in perfect condition. It looks so crisp and soft at the same time on my bed. It is soft, breathable, and has a little bit of weight so that you can feel it on you. A delightful blanket that looks more expensive than it was and works better than expected!

Quality seems good upon opening. I laid the quilt on our bed to confirm sizing before washing, as direction of care state to do. And it barely covers the side of the mattress. I rotated the quilt, and it’s definitely rectangular, so the opposite way, doesn’t cover the top of the bed. I will wash in cold water to prevent shrinking. The color is beautiful & the texture is nice & lightweight. It does feel like a breathable fabric. I would for all our beds if there were a few more inches of length on the sides (width) so that it drapes as shown in the picture. To be noted, we have an average depth mattress, less than mattress shown & we have a hard time finding oversized as a reasonable cost.

Vary disappointed in this item. Spent many a hours trying to find a nice bed spread that my husband would feel comfortable with (he's vary particular) and ultimately settled on this one. Once I received the spread I noticed on the tag it said 100% polyester. Shell 100% polyester, batting 100%. It's one thing to have known as it doesn't feel awful but to be completely dishonest with customers is the reason I will be sending it back and never making another purchase with Shalala New York. If you're looking for cotton, this blanket is not for you.

I ordered the green expecting a thicker quilt. Not only is this very thin, but there is a thick white trim that is not advertised in the photo. Quality not worth the price. Decent material overall, just disappointed in thickness and this white trim that was not advertised
