I purchased this to replace a manual standup desk I was using that I never lowered because it was difficult and inconvenient. This has definitely changed the game and I am stoked with my purchase. I have only had the desk setup for a week, so here is my review so far. I will update if anything changes! Pros: - good value, this was one of the more affordable electric standup desks - fairly simple to assemble, took me approximately an hour and a half - has a monitor shelf, most of the other standup desks in this price range were completely flat - customizable to an extent, you can put the controls, cup holder, and hook on whatever side works best for you - it seems like it will be reliable, I don’t raise/lower it every day, but so far it has worked great. I will update it something changes - there are customizable settings for your sitting and standing positions. You can use the arrows to adjust the desk exactly where you want it, then hold the sit/stand button to program that height so you only have to hit one button next time to get to the perfect setting. Cons: - the desk is a little slow to raise/lower, this is a super minor complaint - the motor is kind of loud, or louder than I expected. Definitely not a deal breaker, just something I’ve noticed - the main desktop is two pieces that have to be attached with brackets, so if they are not perfectly level when you put them on the legs there will be a slight bump in the middle of the desk, this happened to me and my keyboard was slightly wobbly, I fixed it by tightening the bracket underneath - the finish of the desk isn’t just black, it’s carbon fiber. I usually don’t use a mousepad but need ti with this desk because the carbon fiber finish interferes with the mouse tracking and makes it impossible to use. Overall I am very pleased with this purchase! I will update if anything changes. ... show more

I think for the price I paid I got a great desk. It took me about 2.5 hours by myself to put it together. I think what really made the install bad was the fact that the parts were not labeled. The screw packages and each part had no labels on it. You basically just had to go by the pictures. I also got held up on attaching the motor to the desk. I didn't realize there was a plastic sleeve you slide the motor into in order to screw it to the desk. The monitor shelf was also a little confusing because I didn't realize I was supposed to be using the screws with the little wheel pattern on them. All in all, I think it looks great and it fits great in the space. The motor is a little loud and slow but not too crazy. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This is a great desk for the price. I believe I got the 55in length one. I am a 28 year old female who is not the most skilled in putting things together. However I was able to put this together! But please keep in mind the tools, screws or parts were not label! It drove me nuts, I had to just go by the looks of them and compare them to the graphics on the directions. The directions were thorough and easy to follow for the most part. Can’t wait to use this desk for the school year ... show more

I had to reach out to customer service- TYLJ, this product is shipped & sold by Amazon. They were able to grant me a refund. A screw broke off in the hole that locks in the dowel that runs through the motor- the part that lifts the desk, so I cant finish putting it together. I didn't even torque it that much, the head just fell right off. It no longer has the standing function, I'd be worried it would fall and dump my $1900 computer, and I can no longer break it down when I move to a new apartment. I have another standing desk for my work computer (from a different Amazon company) and I love it. It was easy to put together and is easy to use. This desk, however, was not easy to put together. Listen... I don't want to put anyone out of business. This company provided extras for each piece (seriously, even an extra foot for the leg), the legs are sleek, it has a large range of height so it would work for tall people. So, if you want to try it, buy it! It's backed by Amazon! I don't like that the instructions weren't very clear for the first few steps. Nothing is labeled with the part number. The desk top is in two pieces... I didn't finish putting it together, so maybe you can screw it together tight enough to be seamless or cover it with a cute vinyl wrap. Because they wanted to fit it into a smaller box, the dowel is in two pieces and a total headache to align both legs and the motor. I'm giving it 4 stars still... if you are patient, test that side screw, and want a tall and long desk, buy this desk. It's offered at a fair price. I won't be buying it again, but this may be the perfect desk for you... The first pic shows the piece that locks the dowel together, unscrew it completely and fit the dowels in and screw it together instead of pushing the dowels in. ... show more

We bought two of these desks and they look exactly as shown in pictures. They are sturdy and offer plenty of space. Some comments mentioned issues with putting the desk together because the pieces are not marked.
