A must for any classic Namco fan, combining the lore and universes of Bosconian, Galaga, Xevious, Dig Dug and more (and it's technically a Pac-Man game!). Movement starts out awkward but in very Tower of Druaga fashion, upgrades and new moves are sequentially unlocked and make exploration and combat very satisfying. It's not the highest budget title of its kind on the market but it's certainly one of my favorites. I will note that it's about as unforgiving as the classic games it's built around: save points are far apart, especially ones that fully heal you, which makes the game a satisfying challenge but could also be incredibly frustrating if it's not your style. The kind of creative "AA" sort of title I miss stumbling across back in the PS2 days. It's not going to be for everyone, but I'm having a great time. ... show more

Great game! Challenging MAZE levels, ridiculous plot, easy to get lost in. Game was exactly what I ordered. No code in a box or key card here, it's the actual game on an actual cartridge.

Fantastic game if you like metroidvanias. Great bandai Namco callbacks to other games. I ignored more critical reviews and am glad I did because I got a good 30hrs of fun out of this. Its a little difficult and has some quirks like the movement being a little stiff but you get used to it. Solid game and I really want to see more developers do weird interpretations of IPS rather than the same remakes and sequels. ... show more

It’s a perfectly fine metroidvania-style game. Definitely not bad, but if you’re looking for an Ori, Hollow Knight or Metroid you might be disappointed. That being said, the lower price makes it worth a try and I feel like I got my money’s worth.

Don't bother. Cool concept and maybe they can fix things in the next one they make. But mazes are timed, controls when using puck(pacman) are goofy. If you don't beat it you have to redo the whole thing over again. They did a update where you can just restart at the boss but I updated and wasn't given that option. When transforming into the mech/puck creature it has really no moves. Basic attack and that's it.....wow that's so cool(sarcasm) upgrade your attack power and basic enemies still take 3 hits or so...I really did like this game but with all these issues it reminds me a horrible relationship. The good is few and far in between...and doesn't out way the bad ... show more
