The do the job of protecting our table. They do have a bit of a shine to them which is t what we were going for but they are a good size and all stains wash out easily with just dish soap. The back tab does start to come lose after a while.

I really like these placemats. I bought them because I have a plastic cover to protect my table cloth from children. The cover isn’t super heat resistant so I needed something to put out hot dinner plates on. These are nice looking, sturdy and get the job done.

I like that this product is nice quality. They are not super thick, but they are not super thin either. They do well with average heat protection, but would not do well with heat protection for pots and pans. My 8 year old spilled some sauce on one and it washed out easily as well.
