It took a while to put together by myself, but the instructions were decent and would have went a bit faster if I used a drill. It comes with a nice magnetic screwdriver for piecing it together and went together nicely with no issues with any misalignment. It looks really nice in my garage and shows off how organized you can be with your tools and such. It comes with a little bit of pegboard hardware but you might want to pick up another little kit with bins and hooks to hang heavier items as well. Overall, it's solid and looks great so it's worth it to me. You'll most likely enjoy it if you are in the market for something like this! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Updated: 4.5 inch heavy duty vise fit great. Countersunk the bottom screws and bolts to make it flush. Let me start by saying That dealing with Ben and his customer service has been nothing but amazing. I was originally sent the wrong item (wrong) workbench and Ben was quick to respond and mitigate the error the next day. In less than a day, not only did he have FedEx pickup the wrong item but had them drop off the right table. All that in a one day turn around. I’ve never seen that quick of a item exchange through pick up and drop off that went smooth. Ben not only called and made sure I received the right item but verified through texting to ensure a completed transaction. Thank you Ben. Thoroughly impressed and was an honor doing business with you. The product itself is an absolute work of art. It’s meticulously put together individually. When I say this I mean that the instructions are clear, the screws and numbered and appropriate, and my favorite part is each screw has a metal adapter that the screws actually seat in securely. The wood itself is heavy and sturdy. The metal is rigid and non flimsy. The process of building it wasn’t difficult at all, took me about 1.5-2hrs by myself. I appreciate the magnetic screwdriver it comes with making everything that much easier. The entire workbench is sturdy and definitely will withstand some abuse for those who worry of its quality. Other pluses I might add- they included extra screws in case some were missing or lost. Directions were clear and pay attention to the bold print as not tightening the bolts completely DO help with the next step. The adjustable peg stands are absolutely great- it’s a heavy so once it’s all built some adjusting with the pegs will eliminate any sway or vibration. LED is bright and there’s gutters for plenty of wiring. I plan on adding a vise and will add pics once finished. I wish other products were built with this amount of craftsmanship. ... show more

I have put together hundreds of pieces of furniture in my life and none have even come close to how well constructed and detailed this workbench was. The instructions noted every small detail to be aware of, whether it was ensuring a metal lip of the top shelf was aligned inside the other piece or noting not to tighten screws too much since you would need to adjust the fit in a later step, all made it easy to put together. The directions were great and the quality of this thing is amazing. I put it in my workshop, but the wood topper is so nice, I feel like I need to put down a mat of some sort so I don't scratch the top. This thing is beautiful!! The drawer is deep and opens smoothly, the height of the table is perfect for the matching stool Seville also sells. I loved this workbench so much that I just bought another one to put opposite the first for some smaller craft items. Amazing product! Worth every penny. ... show more

    • Purchase of The Year!
Unless I am somehow able to buy a vineyard in Tuscany or Basilicata for $50 or a brand new Ferrari for $100 in the next 10 months, this workbench will win the Purchase of 2018 hands down. I can't remember when I have been this enthusiastic about a purchase - on or off Amazon - in a long, long time. I ordered the bench on January 30th and delivery from California to NYC was supposed to take up to nine days. The bench arrived early on February 6. The item was well and securely packed. There was some visible damage to the shipping box (likely from the shipping company) and I was apprehensive about what may have been damaged inside; I needn't have worried, all was well. Every part was well labeled. Not only did the labels contain both the part number and name, they had arrows indicating the direction the part should be in when assembled. A magnetic tipped Phillips head screwdriver and a wrench were included. I used my cordless drill instead of the screwdriver. The instructions recommended that the bench be assembled by two people. Although the box was heavy, once everything was unpacked I had no issues assembling it myself. The assembly process took me about 2.5 hours using the "measure twice cut once" philosophy. After assembling, I put my 3' level on the thick, butcher block quality surface and, using the included wrench, adjusted the feet. I don't thing a ball bearing would roll off now. I read a number of reviews on Amazon before buying the bench. One reviewer complained that the pegboard hooks fit loosely in their holes, resulting in the hooks coming off every time he removed a tool. His complaint is mostly true but easily solved: once I had the hooks located where I wanted, I wrapped some rubber bands around the hook ends where they protrude out the back of the pegboard (which is metal). The LED light is fantastic. The power strip (which contains two USB ports) is a bit on the flimsy side, but hardly a reason not to purchase this bench. I bought this bench to primarily build/repair guitars and it is solid. I mean SOLID. For example, when I clamp a guitar body to the bench and use my orbital sander, the bench stands up to the vibrations as if it was born to do so. The drawer works smoothly and the dividers and rubber mats are great. If I were to design the bench, I would add a second drawer. Although I tend to stand at the bench, I bought a Boss Office Products B16245-BK Be Well Medical Spa Drafting Stool with Back from Amazon for when my 65 YO legs get tired. My legs fit comfortably under the bench when sitting on the stool. So, after just two weeks of use, I'm extremely happy with this purchase. I may very well buy one to use in the garage. ... show more
