Description

Organize any space with Seville Classics UltraDurable® 6-Tier Commercial-Grade NSF-Certified Steel Wire Shelving System. This heavy-duty shelving is constructed from industrial-strength steel and measures 48” wide by 18” deep by and 75” high fully assembled on wheels (72” high on leveling feet). The 6 shelves and 4 poles are plated steel for protection against corrosion in dry environments. Shelves are adjustable in 1” increments. Includes four 3” heavy- duty rubber wheels and four adjustable leveling feet. NSF Certified - NSF/ANSI Standard 2 - Food Equipment for commercial and restaurant use. This shelving system can store up to 800 lbs. per shelf on leveling feet (4,800 lbs. total). On wheels this shelving system can store up to 500 lbs. total. No tools are required for assembly.

USE I have purchased a number of these Wire Shelving Rack units over the years. My wife and I have found them most helpful in a number of organization areas whether it’s in the garage to store paint, supplies or odds/ends, in the kitchen supplementing the pantry storage while being durable enough to hold Stand mixers, large crockpots, and hundreds of pounds of sauces, canned goods and the like. We even bought several for our business to help organize cleaning products/tools and retail accessories in the back room. They are an important part of our organizational measures around both the house and business and have been an outstanding investment which leads me to the next section. DESIGN / DURABILITY The design is simply smart. My wife and I together were able to assemble the full shelf (including a bit of measuring to determine exactly where the shelf placements were required) in about 20 minutes. Everything you need is right inside the box in most cases, although I prefer making sure that the shelves are really level and even so instead of using my hand to bump the corners, I opted for a rubber mallet to ensure the wire wasn’t damaged or bent while still allowing me to get the shelves on the holds nice and tight. On that note, a rubber mallet is also super helpful when it comes to loosening the shelves (when striking from the bottom corners of each shelf) for repositioning. The build quality is absolutely fantastic - even weight down with several hundred pounds of items per shelf, the shelves do not bow and since we are utilizing the casters, it’s a breeze to move the whole unit around easily and effectively. You will find a bit of a tougher time on thicker carpeted surfaces but hardwoods or tile allows the unit to glide easily. PRICE / OVERALL THOUGHTS For me, I think that the price is worth it. As I’ve purchased similar wire racks from other vendors in the past, I can say that this unit feels sturdier and holds more weight without any warping or bending of the individual shelves. This is kept in one of my wish lists as the next time I need one, it will be a quick click with no further thought required as I find the shelving unit to be a value for the price and quality of the product. Perfect for storing things in the garage. I like the locking wheels so I can move the shelving unit around when needed to clean or rearrange the garage. It was very easy to assemble. No tools were needed. I installed it without any assistance but I do recommend that a helper would be helpful. It is very sturdy and there is no wobble or rocking. It holds up to 800 pounds per shelf which is better than most of the competitors. I like the higher gauge material and the reinforced shelves. I now have 3 of these shelving units in my garage and plenty of room for 2 cars, a refrigerator, workbench and more. I ordered two shelving units because my mother loves this brand and they have really worked well for her. Unfortunately the two i ordered both came damaged. One shelf on each unit was bent. These are pretty pricey to be arriving damaged. I have sent an email to support to see if i can get the two shelves that are damaged replaced instead of getting a refund. I will update once i receive a response from them. I am really hoping I won’t have to take apart and send back for a refund. * update * Customer Service responded and is sending me a replacement! They replied back quickly, and the problem was solved very easily. So happy about that because it is a good product. ... show more

I own several other Seville shelves, all excellent, performing well after 5+ years. Made in Taiwan, a democratic country. Packaging was protective (from delivery co.). Quality was most excellent -- much lower quality "cheaper" shelves from big box store comes with a lot of rust and poorly spray painted parts. Seville is chrome and perfect (IMHO). Wheels are good quality and appear to be very durable, hold the weight, rolls easily when rack is full, has parking brake to fix in position, with step-on release. When parked, I turn wheels to inside to ensure no accidental release and stick out. Using for heavy tools and hardware -- weight evenly distributed. Easily assembled with NO TOOLS except for a rubber hammer (or wrap a hammer in padding or whack with a 2x4", etc.) Shelf labels, hooks, accessory baskets, etc. available for "wire shelves". ... show more

These shevles are very sturdy and easy to assemble. However, it is almost impossible for one person to do alone. You need a second person AT LEAST until you get to the third shelf, better for the entire process. And while it is simple, assembly takes more than the 10 minutes it says in one part of the description. With two people, from unboxing to completely assembled, allow closer to 30 minutes. I have other similar products from this company that I do like because they have heavy duty wheels and can support a lot of weight. For this item, two shelves arrived bent on the edges, one was bent down the middle and unusable. The website to contact the manufacturer does not work and the only option is to repackage and return the entire shelf and take it to the UPS store for a credit. I was not even given an option to repurchase the item. I would just like a replacement shelf but would have to purchase one for $91.00. I am keeping the rack to use with the undamaged shelves because it is too heavy and time consuming to repackage and send the whole rack back but will not purchase again. ... show more
