It has been handy communicating across valleys when skiing in the Atlas etc... But still it feels like crap. Off-course it is on the opposite end of the scale from a Sennheiser EW-110 in quality. But while the Sennheiser warns you about a range of 70 m, in practise it goes 300 meters down a packed New York street without problems, while TopCom can brag about "Long Range" but having problems with reaching 20 meters. So it is not a TOOL you automatically grab too if you want to discuss skiing a cliff edge, or have some "traffic control". It becomes underused. -- That was quality of use.. Materials: The plastic feels so cheap, not even toys would be made of a thing like this. The external microphone has such a stiff cable, that the clip can't hold the handheld piece in position. And the cover over the earpiece port broke off. And all the buttons is not for ease of use? It is too look "professional" on pictures, aren't they? In total it looks so cheapish that it gives a slightly creepy feel. The really bad thing however, is that it seems that TopCom has hijacked Google. It is really hard to see what higher quality alternatives that are out there, as enquiries drowns in TopCom hits on the search engine. ... show more
