These are pretty cute, so while they’re cheaply made, it’s impossible to not love them. I was surprised that the battery pack was sticking out the top of the hat. Seems like it would have been better if it could have been secured under the fabric of the ghost to help prevent water from entering the battery pack, but maybe it won’t matter. I just tried to adjust it at an angle so any water will hopefully run out. We’ve been getting quite a bit of rain here, so it shouldn’t be long before I can test if it really is weather resistant. I thought about wrapping the battery pack with black electric tape, not only to seal it from the elements, but also to disguise it better since it does kind of stick out like a sore thumb. I love the different light settings, and they’re nice and bright. They also include an extra set of batteries, which is great. Assembly was pretty easy, but I did mess up and put one of the eyes on crooked, but that’s ok, it still looks adorable. I was surprised at how durable and sticky the eyes actually are. I was worried about them sticking good to the fabric, but they don’t budge after they’ve been applied. They are the perfect size for what I needed, and it worked out great because I have 3 hooks that normally have flower baskets hanging from them, so the bundle of 3 was a great value for the money. As a two pack, these ghosts are pretty comparable in price to any decoration you’d find at your local hardware store. We personally prefer decorations that aren’t inflatable for our yard so these naturally intrigued me. We also have a 1-year old so my wife limits me to “cute” decorations so we don’t scare our daughter. These fit that bill. The setup is a breeze and I was able to have my 8-year old niece help me put both together in under 20 minutes. The hardest part is honestly wrapping the lights around the center post that holds the ghost head up haha! There’s nothing advanced going on here, 3-AA batteries are needed for power and the switch comes with a timer or “always on” option. The internal frame is just a collection of pvc tubes and couplers, but it makes for easy tear down when the holiday is over and you can store these in a pretty small box. We will definitely be using some weight to help keep these stationary as they’d definitely blow over or the sheet would get lost in the wind. Should be as easy as hanging it from the pvc as the included instructions suggest. Yall, these ghosts are adorable! I have one in our hallway, and one peaking out of our front door window. They were super easy to set up and offer a nice glow/ambiance. Sure you could “diy” it by buying the supplies individually but this kit makes it so much easier and I believe it’s cheaper than buying all the supplies separate, since you get 2 ghosts in one kit. They are sturdy, have a nice height to them and are just plain cute. However, I do not think these should go outside, unless you want them to blow away. I guess you could put some kind of weight on the stand / sheet but if it rains the poor guys will be soaked since the sheet is made of a literal cotton/microfiber sheet lol What I really love about these is that they use simple supplies so if something does get lost or broken, it’s easy to replace or fix. For me, these are worth the money and I’m super happy with the purchase. Thank you ... show more

I ordered these to decorate our little cabin for a party and hayride. They are so cute, I didn’t use the lights because we were using them only for daytime but they constantly blow over with the slightest breeze. One of the hats blew off never to be found because they just sit on there. They are easy to assemble and a good price but the base is pvc pipe with a tripod at each end and a plastic globe sits in the top to form the head so they topple VERY easily even up against the wall. I would pick them up and they were down within 5 minutes, if you can find a way to stop that from happening or use them indoors where there’s absolutely no breeze then they are a great purchase. ... show more

Ghosts come unassembled, but super easy to put together. The “ghost” part is just a large sheet over a pvc frame, which I was surprised about (don’t know what I expected really). Overall SUPER cute when put together. A little unstable but it does come with anchors. I’d make sure to weigh it down if you plan to keep outside somewhere theres lots of wind. These are really cute and I have them hung in a cranberry tree that's in front of my living room window. My grandson thinks they're funny. The work as advertised. The reason for 4 stars and not 5 is these are not meant to be hung outside where they can get wet. The appearance of the ghost stays the same but the battery pack shorts out and now they randomly flash or blink rapidly. I can no longer control the lights from the button on the little battery pack. Very cute still hanging in the tree during daytime, randomly flashing lights at night. Lol. Not horrible quality but they need to advise customers they're more for eaves or covered porches than trees or exposed to the elements. ... show more
