But then I got a dog who wafts hair all over any room he walks through, and I needed something "less sticky". It’s soft, cute, and exactly what I wanted. Unfortunately some of the fabric looks distressed. It’s not noticeable if you’re just living life but if you closely look at it, you can see it. I HOPE it wasn’t used…I bought of the price of new.

I ordered this duvet in green, size king. The pattern is cute, but I did not expect the pattern portion to be made of a different fabric than the duvet itself. It’s a bit shinier and catches the light, which wasn’t in my vision. I don’t think the pictures showed this well, hence the 1 star deduction. Additionally, the corner ties are the cheap, flimsy ones common on cheaper duvets. For the price this still seems like a decent choice, but it’s not an investment piece. ... show more

I have no decorating sense of my own and always resort to copying what someone else has done. I found a designer pic for a bedroom done in gray and ivory and fell in love. So I copied it. The designer pic had a plain ivory duvet/comforter, but I love this one with the texture even more! My existing duvet inserts didn't quite fit into this duvet, although it seems to be the advertised size. So I just spread it on top of a duvet insert and hid the extra on the side next to the wall. I LOVE this! I washed it before using and it laundered beautifully. The shams are loose on my queen pillows, so I might need to find some gusseted pillows to fill them up all the way. But overall, this is a fabulous item. I highly recommend it! NOTE: I am a member of the Vine Voice program and received this item at no cost in exchange for my honest review. I chose this duvet cover based on the product photos so I am disappointed that the actual color is different and not what I expected. It is an olive green with yellow undertones and a bit drab not the more vibrant green from the photos. The fabric is thin but soft and comfortable. This duvet cover fits my down insert perfectly.
