Very sturdy, good lock (not flimsy), plenty of room under the cash drawer, good handle for carrying. My grandson (age 10) is now to the age where he wants to start counting and saving the money he earns. He saw a "cash register" toy that had the drawer to separate bills and coins - but after reading reviews I figured it would quickly break so decided to give him a "real bank" for his money. The lock is nice, not one of the very thin ones and will keep his younger siblings out (with the spare key going to the parents...). took me a long time to find a box the size I needed and this was the box. I didn't want the cash tray, I wanted something to keep a notebook, photos and documents in, but big enough for a full-size notebook fire and water proof would be nice, but this is ok for the price

i use it as a change box to refill needed missing change from a cash register. very good for this purpose. I hate the change boxes that use those spring things to hold the cash. the springs ALWAYS break. this uses no springs so it will last longer. 5 thumbs up

I purchased is not really expecting much but what ends up when you get it and physically look at it is there are two sides for currency and six slots in the center for change so you even have a place for half dollars and dollars or extra slots if you have to do change and you need to like extra slots for quarters because the you use a lot of those so that was nice. As far as the lot go I was fundamentally disappointed in the beginning because the lock was extremely hard to turn and I figured this is why they were selling it at such a cheap price but after I jostled the tray around the lock works great it seems extremely sturdy it’s not like somebody can either not walk away with this if you have it outside or break into it with a screwdriver but at least he’ll slow them down and force them to physically break into the unit. The other thing I like by having the currency on the other side if you have two people working out of the box they can share the change that’s not a big deal but you can keep track of how much cash they have by having them put whatever they collect on their own side of the box. It doesn’t mean that somebody can’t grab a part of the change from the other person side and throw it over but if it’s a friendly competition you can keep track of who’s selling the most of the flea market. Plus I like to have my small bills on one side and the bigger bills on the other side oh so you can lift up the tree and there’s plenty of room underneath or anything that’s 20 or bigger that you may wanna keep in the box I would recommend that you keep 20 or bigger‘s inside your pocket in case somehow the box disappeared but if you have real change you’re such it would be good. Also if you’re going to lock it by having two keys to people can have access so again to slow down anything that might happen if you’re working with somebody else or a third person who you may not trust to be taking or touching the money you know you can say I’m sorry we only have two keys. But overall I was quite surprised it was a lot more than I was expecting.
