  • Amazing Sound Quality!!!
Color: Matte Black Size: XX-Large
I bought this helmet strictly for sound quality and it DID NOT Disappoint....By far the best sounding music quality I have heard inside a helmet...

  • This feels like a decent piece of safety gear with some very nice additional features.
Color: Gloss White Size: Medium
From 1990 to 2005, I made my living as a motorcycle mechanic and parts distributor in the powersports industry. I’ve also spent quite a bit of my free time amateur racing, so I’ve seen and handled my share of helmets, both good and bad. I am not a fan of cheap, bad helmets, and I’m not shy about it in my reviews. In fact, most of the helmets I’ve received for review I would only rely on to keep my head dry in case of rain. This one is better than most. This seems as if it’s the one the others were trying to imitate. It has a composite fiberglass shell rather than the usual mystery plastic. The interior is fairly well-made and comfortable, but it does look familiar. I like that it has conventional double D-rings on the strap as opposed to that magnetic junk. Every moving part on it is very positive and tactile. There’s no slop in anything once it’s in place. I’m one to fog up any good helmet, including this one, but it’s better than most, and it vents pretty well. As for all of the “smart” features, that’s not really my area of expertise. I’m retired, so I’m not always up on how these things work. I had to watch a few videos to really take advantage of some of them. The sound is really good. I wish I had this back when I was racing Mini Stocks. I used to love to crank up the music in my headphones under my helmet. But now I really like it for the directions from my phone. I really like that little map lamp too. Not a big fan of apps, though. Overall, I’d still like to see a better helmet and fewer smart features for my money, though. ... show more

  • Strongly recommend
Color: Matte Black Size: Large
Great helmet love the technology don’t understand why more brands are not offering these features. Excellent sound quality, padding is comfortable, d-ring fasteners work well, fits perfect, I got a large. It is a little heavy.

  • Nicely boxed good sound but will it protect my head? Nicely boxed good sound but will it protect my head?
Color: Matte Black Size: Medium
Initial review no riding yet: I been looking for a replacement helmet for some time. Coming from a Shoei RF1400. This was one of my choices. I saw a lot of Vine reviews and even some regular ones. Giving this a 4 to 5 star helmet. First this is ONLY a DOT helmet. Not sure why it says ECE in some sites etc. So it's only manufacturer certification for the model I got. Sena phantom xb. Very confusing here. Visually the quality looks good. But once you grab the chin straps and put it on. Then it feels like the helmet has only a thin layer of protection. For $600, it is pretty close to a Shoei gt3 air. The cushion feels good and snug so far. It says washable. So this definitely has advantage over shoei padding. (Yes dont wash shoei padding) Bluetooth Electronics 100% very good as Sena and Cardo are the Giants. Bass is good. Easy app connection etc. Lights front and rear not bad. Front shield. And drop down visor. Its easy to get the drop down visor to open and close as its the big tab on top of the helmet. With both of these on. The helmet will fog up 100%. This does not come with anti fog pinlock so this definitely needs it. Overall the price is getting too close to a gt3 air. Obviously you wont be getting the sena electronics with just the gt3 because thats additional $400 on top of the gt3 air push the price to $1000. This is my initial review. Ill have a riding review also added in a few days. Update riding with earplugs. The sound from speakers are loud enough during 60 to 70mph. Its only at 50% volume from my phone. So a huge plus. Even though im wearing ear plugs theres was this wind buffeting sound on my right. Could not figure what it was. But thanks to the ear plugs its fine. Riding without earplugs. That howl and buffeting sound from the right side is annoying. The left is not has bad. Basically i would not wear this without earplugs. Will keep this posted. Comfort and glare. There seems to be some random glare when visor is down. I wish the visor went down a little further. ... show more

  • Sleek Smart Helmet With Incredible Sound and Thoughtful Features
Color: Matte Black Size: Large
This is the Sena Phantom XB full face smart motorcycle helmet with built in communication and audio. I picked it up wanting something clean looking in matte black but also packed with features for riding, especially since I like listening to music and occasionally ride in the evening. I am trying this after using a lower end Sena that I attached to a standard full-face modular HTC. Pros and Cons I am honestly kind of obsessed with this helmet. The matte black finish looks incredible and gives it a really clean, all black aesthetic that feels high end without being flashy. It feels secure on the head and comfortable once it is on, though it is definitely tight getting it on at first, which makes sense for a brand new helmet that has not broken in yet. The weight feels reasonable and not overly dramatic to the neck. Removing it is a bit odd, but it is my first non-modular full-face helmet. The sound quality is a standout feature. It is genuinely impressive and makes riding more enjoyable if you like listening to music on the way to wherever you are going. When I first turned it on it announced the battery life, made engine revving sounds, and then started playing music. It caught me off guard at first, but it also showed right away how good the audio is. The built in features are where this really shines. The chin light is awesome and adjustable, and the automatic tail lights add a level of visibility that actually makes me feel safer, especially riding in lower light conditions. The microphone is built into the front in a way that does not stick out or get in your way, which is a really nice design choice. It also comes with foam covers for it, which is a nice extra. The buttons on the sides are a bit stiff, but honestly that is probably a good thing. It helps prevent accidentally hitting something while riding and losing your connection or changing settings mid ride. There are a couple small things to note. There is not much padding right around the front chin and mouth area, which feels a little odd at first. It may be intentional for airflow or space, but it is something you notice. The setup process was also a little confusing right out of the box, even though it was easy enough to figure out once I interacted with it. Value for Money For a smart helmet with integrated audio, lighting, and communication features, this feels like strong value. You are getting a lot built in without needing to attach external systems, and the sound quality alone makes a big difference in daily use. It is not a budget helmet, but it feels worth it for the features and experience. Summary This helmet combines style, safety features, and really impressive sound into one package. It looks amazing, feels secure, and adds useful features like lighting and integrated communication that actually enhance the ride. There are a few minor quirks with initial setup and fit, but overall this is a helmet that feels premium and fun to use every time you put it on. ... show more

  • Lots of plusses... Lots of plusses...
Color: Gloss White Size: Large
Lots of positives but one big question...how will it hold up in a crash? The manufacturer's website says "...full-faced, smart helmet that exceeds DOT and ECE safety standards." But the helmet is only marked with a DOT label which is not reassuring as virtually everything meets this dubious standard. The ECE rating is what I look for as it requires multiple instances of destructive testing and the helmet models that pass are allowed to be sold in the European Community. They are labeled as such prominently. This is a misstep, in my opinion, foregoing the ECE rating for US/North American customers. That said, I mostly love everything else about it. Pairing is easy, first my phone, and my screen to the helmet. The sound is remarkably good and the ambient noise, even without ear plugs, is lower than my other helmets. They've figured something out here and it works. I try to avoid phone apps but have experience with this one and the Summit winter sports app. They do okay. I know I'll use the front "map light" because it works well when sitting in the dark of my garage looking in my tank bag. The brake lights are a nice touch with two suggestions...make them larger and/or make them come on with deceleration only without the dim parking light aspect. The idea is to be seen when slowing/braking. Drivers in cages shouldn't be trying figure out what we're doing; brake lights mean stopping. Last thing on the lights; why is the brake light the front button on the right side and front map light is the rear position? It's not intuitive. The left mounted clear visor tab to open & close it should be in the middle. The visor gets twisted when trying to move it from the side. I inevitably use my entire palm trying to move it up and down so it goes more smoothly. I do like the positive click against the seal int he closed position and the number of stops along the way to fully open. I appreciate the centuries of utility that come from using a metal double D-ring on the strap. It's known to be safest. it takes a second or two longer to strap it into place but I'm sure I'm not the only one that would rather do that versus a plastic quick-disconnect. The internal tinted visor works well enough that I haven't used my sunglasses yet when wearing this helmet. This is a really positive trend. I also like the firm detents in the mechanism so I know when the tinted visor is fully open & closed. It's a comfortable, performance oriented tool for people that appreciate good sound and comfort. The rating could be enhanced with an ECE approval. ... show more

  • Fantastic audio quality
Color: Matte Black Size: Medium
This is a fantastic motorcycle helmet with really impressive built-in audio. I like that everything is integrated instead of having to mount a separate Sena unit on the side. The sound quality is the main reason this is so great. The bass actually holds up at highway speeds, which is rare for built-in helmet audio, and music plus navigation both came through very clearly on my rides. The built-in lights and retractable visor are also nice real-world upgrades. I especially like not having to think about adding extra visibility gear for evening rides, and the whole setup feels much cleaner than piecing together a normal helmet with separate accessories. The bigger issue is the fit. It runs a little tight at first, especially getting it on and off, so I do think sizing and break-in matter more here than with some modular helmets. Overall this is a really solid smart helmet if audio is your main priority. I like that the sound quality is actually noticeably better than most built-in systems I have used, and the fully integrated design keeps the helmet looking much cleaner. Considering the audio quality and build-quality of the helmet, it's a good value and I'm very happy with it. ... show more

  • Excellent Audio and Smart Features, With Just a Few Areas to Refine
Color: Gloss White Size: Medium
This helmet delivers an impressive combination of comfort, technology, and sound quality. The integrated speakers stand out immediately—the audio is rich, clear, and noticeably fuller than what most built‑in helmet systems offer. Music, calls, and navigation prompts all come through cleanly, and the noise control helps reduce wind interference during rides. The smart features add real convenience. Mesh communication works smoothly for rider‑to‑rider chatting, and pairing with a phone is quick and reliable. The built‑in LED lighting and retractable sun visor are thoughtful touches that make everyday riding easier and safer. The interior padding feels supportive, and the overall fit is comfortable for longer trips. The only drawback is that, for the price, it would be nice to see broader safety certification labeling on the helmet itself. While the construction feels solid and well‑engineered, clearer markings would add extra confidence. Overall, this is a high‑quality smart helmet with excellent audio and strong connectivity features. A great choice for riders who value communication and sound performance, ... show more
