The Outrush R is a Bluetooth modular motorcycle helmet that features seamless integration of Sena’s world-class audio Bluetooth system. The Outrush R comes complete with a sleek and versatile modular design, integrated speakers and a microphone, and smartphone pairing to access music and phone on your ride. Powered by Bluetooth 5.0, the Outrush R features 4-way Intercom, allowing up to four riders to pair their Sena Bluetooth devices to one another. Additionally, when connecting to just one other rider, users will experience 2-way HD Intercom, which will enhance the audio quality on the trip. Users can expect an impressive 900-meter (0.5 miles) intercom range and a talk time of up to 12 hours with the Outrush R. This item complies with US Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 218 (FMVSS 218) (DOT FMVSS No. 218 Certified).

This helmet arrived defective, it would pair with any phone I tried to connect to it but would not function. I reset the Bluetooth and tried everything I could find about the system online and finally decided I just wanted the item replaces as the fit and finish were great and my other helmet in the same order from Sena was FANTASTIC (Sena Impulse for me and this one was a Outrush R for my wife). I filled out the return with Amazon and requested a replacement as this was the helmet we wanted. That went through fine, then I printed the label and dropped it off at the UPS Pickup place locally. An hour later the company canceled my replacement order and said Tough luck, they don't do replacements so I would have to contact Sena for warranty work. I contacted them and asked why it was canceled as soon as I saw it was and they replied with the above information and said that I had to contact Sena. I responded to them AGAIN telling them I couldn't because the helmet was already shipping to them and again they said we don't do replacements contact Sena. I explained a third time that the helmet was on its way to them already and this time radio silence so I contacted Amazon support. They said that the helmet could be refunded under the A-Z program but I had to wait 48 hours for the company to respond once they contacted them on my behalf which they did, giving the company the same info I had and the company replied to me that I had to contact Sena. I called back into Amazon and was told I still had to wait 48 business hours before they could process the A-Z claim even though the company had responded and brushed me off again. Disappointed all the way around. I eventually just Ordered an upgraded Impulse helmet for my wife as well at double the cost and am sure she will love it but she did not need the mesh and some of the other features that drive the price way up. If you are thinking about buying one of these just make sure you do not buy it from... Amazon seller 4into1 (4into1.com) ... show more

I cannot tell you how easy this helmet is to use, how it fits, nor how good the Bluetooth is but what I can tell you is that I owe Sena a huge thank you for SAVING my SON from extensive facial and head trauma. At the end of the day, helmets are to keep your head as safe as possible and this helmet has proven to be able to do that! LISTEN CAREFULLY…If your loved one has decided to hop on one of these 2-wheeled vehicles, PLEASE have them where a helmet with the face shield down at all times! If you refer to the pictures, you will know why I say to have the face shield down. I HIGHLY recommend this helmet. My son was ejected from his bike, flipped in the air, landed and slid about 20ft on the right side of head/face. If it was not for this helmet, my son would likely be in very serious condition and have a brain injury. He did suffer a broken ankle that required surgery, but it could have been so much worse if he had not been wearing the Sena Outrush R helmet or had he not been wearing it properly (face shield down). Do not hesitate buying this helmet!! I cannot speak to the safety of other helmets, but the safety of this particular helmet is one that I can personally verify. I give this helmet 5 stars and am eternally grateful to Sena for making such a quality product that does its job! ... show more
