Paddle provides a good combination of Control and Power. Paddle surface allows for better spin and control of drop shots. Middle weight can be increased with lead tape on edges for more power on serves and returns as player develops improved skills.

I wanted more texture on my paddle to fit the way i'm playing now and this paddle delivers. The grip has a firm feel that doesn't slip when palms are sweaty. Overall weight is good and not heavy, which fits my game. The ball response off the paddle feels solid to me but I'm not a power hitter. Not having a raised edge has reduced unpredictable shots that hit the outer rim of the paddle. I'm delighted with this paddle and it competes well with ones that cost $200. ... show more

This is the first paddle I bought. The ball comes off pretty fast and I could obtain alot of spin with it. My control was not great though. I was hitting the ball long pretty often. I can say I've dropped and scraped this paddle with minimal damage. No splitting, just scuffs. It's definitely very sturdy! Lol ... show more
